excellent swedish massage. Worker my back pain. got deep into the tense area. Good value for money read more

This was my 3rd time here, and all the previous experiences have been extremely positive. However after this most recent experience I would never recommend any female from coming. I asked for a female masseuse and was given a male. He was inappropriately massaging me under my shirt, applied oil without asked on my neck, back, and sides under my shirt. Though I did ask for shoulder and lower back focus, the male masseuse spent 95% of the time on my shoulder and back. I was asked to sit up and lay on him with a pillow in between us. Highly inappropriate, disgusted, and disappointed in this establishment. read more

I was feeling dead and exhausted after weeks of working 12-15 hours in a chair with no support and hosting an intense party for 40 people. It was my day off, and I was on the verge of tears with my back/neck pain and aching feet. I've never paid more than $50 for a massage in NYC, but I was desperate and I needed something close by that I could get an appointment at today because I've literally been non-functional all day. Suchada answered my phone call and offered availability within 30 minutes. I didn't know what to get from their long list of options, but explained that I had back/neck pain but I'm very sensitive to pressure. I was recommended the Swedish massage, and I opted to get it for 1.5 hours. They told me there was a first time customer discount ($149 instead of $185). The space is very calming and there was a station with orange-infused cold water, which was nice. Jess, my masseuse, was professional and amazing. All the stress and tension in my body melted away, and I tried to fight it but fell asleep during parts of the massage because it was so relaxing. I did find it a bit colder than I would've liked (but I run cold; I prefer temperatures of 74-78 degrees) but it was fine. I liked that the warm towels used to wipe my body of oil were scented. Now that I'm looking at these Yelp reviews, I'm sad that they did not tell me that there's a dry sauna I could've used :( But I otherwise had an amazing experience and I walked out completely rejuvenated. Very worth it. As a note, they apparently offer 15% off Mondays to Thursdays currently. I saw someone in front of me get upset that they do not stamp the loyalty card if there's a discount on the service. read more

Just had my second massage with the wonderful Anna! Perfectly attuned to her client, checking in about movement and pressure, with gloriously strong gentle hands. I have been looking for new masseuse, so glad I found Anna and Suchada Thankyou! read more

I love Suchada! A friend brought me here a few years ago & I've been coming back regularly since. Great practitioners & an awesome atmosphere, 5 stars! read more

Do not ever go here, extremely rough and unsafe masseuse. Feels like assault I paid for a 90 deep tissue, was given a lady who couldn't speak English. After repeatedly asking her to be gentler, she didn't comply and kept on using her body weight against me and elbow to press harder. I think she was under the influence of drugs; she just keeps going faster and faster -- don't think she was trained at all. I had to push tell her off and she pinned my neck against the bed and using her body weight and elbow to massage my neck. She asked how my massage was and I said extremely uncomfortable; she just giggled read more

Got a deep tissue massage from Manee and she fixed a huge knot in my shoulder that no other massage therapists have been able to conquer. The massage was intense but I've felt great for the last 5 days since. Thanks, Manee! read more

This location has a dry sauna in the back! Before or after your massage, you can ask for a robe and enjoy the dry sauna and showers in the back. Anthony is my favorite! He gives the best deep tissue massages. Don't forget to ask for the loyalty stamp card. read more

Skip the foot and scalp massage. The therapists only rubbed our feet lightly with no real pressure or effort to ease pain, and the scalp massage was equally disappointing. We felt like we wasted an hour. At $105 for the session, it's overpriced for what we got. When we shared our feedback at the front desk, they apologized but still charged the full amount. Honestly, there was no difference before and after the massage -- it felt like a joke walking back. read more

I had painful chronic lower back pain from a weightlifting injury, and massage therapy was one of the few things that provided real relief. After trying many providers across San Francisco, I was so fortunate to find Noon at Suchada Thai. I usually get deep tissue or trigger point therapy (not traditional Thai with stepping), and Noon is by far the best I've found, especially for calves and lower back. Her technique, pressure, and intuition are unmatched. I used to go regularly before moving out of the area, and I still haven't found anyone as good as Noon. Highly recommend her to anyone dealing with chronic pain or muscle tension! read more

On a whim while I was in the city, I decided I needed a massage. I'd never had a Thai massage before so I made the spontaneous decision to give it a try! No regrets. This was a lovely little spa on a quiet street in Mission Bay. I picked a masseuse who seemed to be very experienced and had the time slot I needed. Her name is Manee and she was wonderful. I got the Thai Aroma Massage which is part East and part western styles. Perfect introduction to something new! Her instructions for me to simply enjoyer was just what I needed to hear. I enjoyed her kind and caring demeanor right from the beginning. And her massage care over my body from beginning to end was exactly what I needed to let go of life for an hours. And the stretching that happened was new but I really enjoyed it. When I came out, I was told by another employee that Manee is known for her stepping technique. I didn't experience that today but I'll be back for that. Just don't tell anyone so we can still get appointments with her in the future, ok? I'll be back! Thank you Manee for helping me renew my body after a season of too much stress! read more

Amazing birthday gift!!! Loved this place and the service I will be back soon the sauna afterwards sealed the deal! Thank you so much

Suchada Thai Massage - Massage Near Me - San Francisco, California

Tried traditional Thai massage to relieve some muscle tension I've built up and boy, was it intense. I appreciated the professionalism of the experience - you start by filling out a card with what intensity you prefer and what areas you want them to focus on. Vollra was my masseuse and although I selected 'medium', she was SO strong and gave a powerful massage. The massage bed is heated and they manipulate your body through sheets, so it does get quite hot after a while - afterwards I felt like I had just finished an intense hot yoga workout experience - would recommend hydrating a lot before and after your massage! Note also that the space is separated by curtains so I could hear the conversation happening in the massage bed next to mine. read more

I normally live a very sedentary life but the past week I've been hiking, doing yoga, dancing, walking, it's been great! But my joints and body isn't used to all this physical activity and ended up becoming very sore and ached around my joints. I found Suchada Thai Massage was pretty close by to where I was working and they had lots of availability so I gave it a try. Walking in, there is so much care and detail put into the presentation of the space. Instantly felt so relaxed. They offered me tea and snacks. Mila was amazing! I had a 1 hour Thai Massage and I'm feeling so much better today. Definitely worth it. read more

I suffer from chronic low back, sciatica & hip bursa pain. Even though I've never tried Thai Massage, because I've passed by Suchada many times, I thought I'd give a try! I booked 120 min deep tissue massage with Manee. It was literally one of the best massage I've have! She understands your body and was careful and worked through my pain. I am going back again tomorrow!! read more

Came here and got a reservation for 2 and had Anna for my deep tissue massage- was pleasantly surprised at how logistically organized they were. They gave me a card to draw where I wanted them to focus and they hit it all. Good: - Reasonable prices - we even got 30 min of free sauna - definitely ask to reserve this - Super good massage - loved how deep and strong the massage was - definitely loosened up my muscles and it was very thorough - They even have showers for after and nice tea and water! - Easy reservation process online Bad: - Sauna was super hot so couldn't stay for too long, but still enjoyed that it was an option Overall a huge fan of this place ! read more

Great service, awesome massages. Only thing for me is it's always a bit too warm in there.

This place is a dreaaaam. Calvin and May were professional, accommodating, and thorough. Me and my wife make the drive from Modesto to see the team here and it's worth every minute on the road. Highly recommend! Most importantly, Viet handles the counter like a whiz! Calmly explaining, educating, and handling the busy inflow of traffic efficiently and caringly! He's the captain of an excellent team and a page long positive review honestly doesn't do this place justice! Will continue to return! read more

Suchada Thai Massage - Massage Near Me - San Francisco, California

Always a Deep and Therapeutic Experience! Suchada Thai Massage is hands down my favorite massage place ever--worth every mile of the drive from Davis to San Francisco. Whether it's travel tension, work stress, or the aftermath of a tough workout, their deep tissue and traditional Thai massage deliver unparalleled relief. The therapists here have a way of finding those stubborn knots and untangling them with precision, leaving you feeling loose, restored, and fully functional. It's like hitting the reset button for your body. Reservations are a must, but trust me, this kind of therapeutic magic is worth planning ahead for. If you're serious about recovery or just need to feel human again, Suchada is the place. read more

They are amazing! Great customer service . Very gentle. They are very clean as well .

Try to guilt you into tipping more and their linens smelled musty and moldy. I'm already paying $155 for 90 minutes and I'm gonna get gruff cuz I didnt tip 25% on top of that? Ruined my massage getting guilted about only tipping $15. Massage was good but really hate hate hate to be judged and guilted after I PREPAID the tip. read more

This was my second time getting a massage here and just like my first time, I was so happy with my experience! I will be back again and definitely need to try their sauna before my massage next time! :) read more

Some of the best massages I've had anywhere in the world. I've been coming here for 6 years. The Thai and aroma massages are amazing and the couples retreat with the sauna and side by side is an amazing treat. I'd recommend this place to anyone! 10/10 read more

This place is amazing - super chill and well taken care of. Just got a couples massage with my wife, and we're feeling awesome. I went for the deep tissue to tackle my knee pain, and she went for the Swedish Massage. No issues at all - totally recommend this spot. Bonus: the Division location has free street parking, and it's one of the safer spots in SF. read more

This was my first time getting a Thai massage in SF and a massage in general following COVID. Prior to the appointment, they will ask for your vaccination record and take your temperature. In addition, they will have you take off your shoes and store it underneath the shoe storage in the front of the store. The ladies in the front will hand your a chart where you can mark your preferred target areas and any areas that are particularly sensitive. I loved how much focus that the masseuse puts on your targeted areas. Although, I think my back was probably past the point of repair because it went back to it's normal stiff self a couple hours after. She also occasionally asked on comfort with the pressure level which was super considerate. Overall, it was a very relaxing experience; however, I wish they put a bit more pressure by using their feet since I still had a couple knots that were not really released. At the end, they have a chart where you can tip by scanning the masseuse's QR code for Venmo if needed. read more

After 5 years of being a customer, I won't be coming back. They give you a little card where you can draw on a body where you want the massage therapist to focus and where they shouldn't. I drew big x's through my legs and reiterated to the therapist that I didn't want any leg work. She then spent about half of the 90 minute massage focused on my legs rather than the upper body focus I had requested. This is the second time this has happened with different therapists, unfortunately. When I had booked the massage, I noticed a promotion on their website for a discount on weekday massages before 4PM, so I made sure to book at noon. When I paid, I noticed the receptionist had charged my card for the full amount, and when I asked about the discount claimed she had "forgotten" to apply it and provided a refund. Just not cool. read more

Thank you so much Samy. The Thai aroma massage was amazing. She consistently tried to get all of my knots out, especially the areas of concern. I feel so relaxed after the massage and was a little sad it ended. Parking was super easy, there are neighborhood parking up to 4 hrs about 1 block away. The front staff were nice and accommodating. If ever need to use the sauna, let the front staff know before appointment. read more

My coworker had recommended this place and the embarcedero location has more parking compared to the other two Suchada locations. I was able to book an appointment with Anna on the Mindbody app and that's pretty seamless. When you check in they have you complete a worksheet that asks you the duration of the massage (1, 1.5, or 2 hr increments,) the level you want your masseur to go (gentle, medium, or strong,) which area of the body you want them to focus on, and is it okay for them to step on you (Thai massage style.) The interior is beautiful and ambient, they play relaxing music in the background for your entire session and it smells really nice throughout the space. It was my first time getting a Thai massage and it is a lot different from massages I've gotten before. The masseur does use their feet and yoga like stretches to apply deep tissue pressure to get the knots out. Anna would periodically check in with me to make sure I was comfortable (I was lol) with the level of pressure she was applying. I initially booked her for 1.5 hours, but about 70 mins into the appointment she had asked me if I wanted to make it two hrs and I immediately said yes. Anna was professional, courteous, a good sense of humor, and lightness about herself. You can tell she really enjoys what she does and wants to make sure that whoever she practicing on feel better after they leave. I wish it was possible to book a 3 hour appointment. 1484638291/10 would recommend. I felt like I was floating after the massage. I will be coming back to the establishment and be recommending this place to everyone and their mother. read more

I just left a 30 minute upper back and neck massage by Bow and it was incredible. I went it with a lot of stress and very tight neck and trap muscles. At the end she even did some Thai stretching that felt so good. I feel like a new person and will definitely be back. Stevie at the front desk was super nice and let me leave a tip on a credit card she also recommended I try the herbal Thai massage next time. I booked on the Mind Body app which was really easy. 12/8/19 Had a great herbal massage today by Anna. Will definitely come back. Also tried out their dry sauna. They have robes you can wear, showers, and lockers. read more

Came here for my sisters birthday and we were able to book 4 people at 12pm on a Saturday! They do ask for vaccine verification and will take your temperature prior to the service Overall, i had a good interaction upon arrival, very straightforward. They have these laminated card for you to fill out your info, pressure level and focus area I ended up with Dao as my person and I had asked for strong for pressure level and for sure, you're going to get a strong pressure, if not even more (dont let her size fool you) - also i opted for deep tissue/trigger point Dao went straight for my glutes (which i marked as one of my focus area) and she went IN! I am also also for her to step on so she use a lot of pressure on there (i was sore so i was struggled lol). you can opt out of stepping as well. After that, she focus on my upper back and she was doing moves that i never experienced before! It really felt lilke she was readjusting my upperback cuz of all the knots i had. The best part of the massage is when she worked my traps and neck...i almost went to sleep. Dao asked me throughout if the pressure was okay but not too frequently to the point of annoyance and she use a lot of hold and release method (kinda like stopping the blood flow and releasing) I would say - based on the comments from everyone else in the group - all 4 deep tissues were a very big difference so i guess they do tailor it to the person. Would come back here again!! Also, they do take card and you can tip in cash or venmo!! read more

Highly recommend Suchada. I have tried their prenatal, postnatal and Swedish massages and all of them were amazing. Staff is very friendly and they are very quick to respond. read more

I have never said this before but if I could give this place 10/5 stars, I would. While I initially found the massages to be overly pricey, I became addicted to the prenatal massages towards the end of my pregnancy. I was 41 weeks pregnant and I could barely stand with the weight of my baby. I practically went everyday for a week because the prenatal massage was better than any medicine I could have taken for what ailed me - the back pain was unbearable. I think the masseuse's name was Anna and she was so sweet, giving my belly a hug and wishing me well. This place was my haven during a challenging time and I could not thank them enough. Thanks Suchada Thai! read more

I have been a customer for 10 years plus. Overall, they give great massages if you are able to find the right therapist. The last massage I had, was mediocre. However, I had a therapist that I used for the first time. The therapist did a "lazy" job and did not pay attention to the chart I filled out prior to. I requested strong pressure and I wanted the focus to be on my neck and back. The therapist spent most of my time on my legs. The stretching portion of my massage was non-existent. On top of it all, the therapist stopped 8 minutes early. I still plan to use Suchada, but I will be visiting the other locations. read more

PRO - Relaxing + comfy massage. Lots of stretching to get the kinks out. While I felt loose, there wasn't anything suuuper special about it for the price. CON - They request that you pay + tip prior to the massage. Kinda hard to tip when you didn't experience anything yet. The rooms are partitioned so you hear lots of creaking/squeaking. Odd. Dislike. read more

Suchada Thai Massage - Massage Near Me - San Francisco, California

The place was spacious and clean, and as I made a reservation, I was shown to my room and given a set of PJs to change into for my Thai non-contact massage. My masseuse, Jay, was very attentive and communicative. I told him that I had lower back issues, and he started explaining to me how tight my muscles were while working on them. My lower back and legs felt so relaxed after the massage, so I would definitely want to come back next time for a deep tissue massage. read more

I don't know why I never knew about this place until now... This place is SO clean, very nice atmosphere (almost felt like I was in a mini retreat) and my lovely masseuse, Noon -- she was the best ever!!! And when I say best, I meant its worth every single penny and second! She was so detail-oriented and paid extra attention on my needs. I got an hour oil deep tissue and she really helped relief my tight shoulder knots and painful lower hip areas. Without specifically mention, she felt the knots on my shoulder and really took her time to help relief my pain. My body cannot thank her enough... Coming out to get a massage in the middle of the pandemic was not the easiest decision; however, this place is BEYOND my expectation. Highly recommended. Please keep this place (or any place really) healthy - do not go if you think you might have covid... read more
