Our girls have attended for the last 5 years and consistently come out of Arbor classes inspired to pursue their intellectual curiosity. The staff and teachers are highly capable learning guides who find a way to make just about any lesson a hands-on experience. They are also always at the ready to engage both gifted and intellectually curious students in a meaningful way which results in a non-competitive, collaborative learning environment. If you homeschool and/or if your kids need customized education in an accepting environment, then you should seriously consider these online and in-person class options at the Arbor.

DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO ARBOR! This center is run by people who are not trained or experienced in…read moreschool administration. It is more a collective of parents who think they understand how to run a learning environment but are wholly unprepared to do so. There are no written policies which allows them to create rules at any time and make any decision about your child's schooling. There is no avenue for parents to advocate for your child or come to a fair resolution. Your child can be told they are in violation of rules that you don't even know existed. In addition, your student can be accused of a violation and the school administration will not even bother to speak to you or your student to get the full story. There is no attempt to be fair or impartial. Once the school decides they don't like your student, your student is done there. Some of the teachers are great but the school is run so poorly that it is not worth the money. Send your child anywhere else.

It is important to listen and retain information about neurotoxin-modulators and fillers do's and DONT'S. Lisa hammer's the importance of being a SAFE injector. She has a wonderful PowerPoint presentation, a take-home manual, and additional resources. I believe the best was the amount of time each individual person had with the hands-on and getting the chance to inject. Literally we had over 4 hours of practice injections. I highly recommend taking this class compared to larger companies with 25-30 students and the limited time allowed to inject. The intimate setting allows you to be comfortable asking questions and even taking the time to assess the patients correctly. I was able to use my mother and sister as my models. I definitely will be returning to Lisa for the advance injectable course in the future. Furthermore, this class is also CEU approved and will obtain a certificate to add on the resume. I understand that it is a lot of money but investing in yourself, gaining knowledge and skills is priceless.

My first grader attended the 2024 summer program at Young Scholars Academy ("YSA") and now attends…read morethe writing class during the 2025 school year. She has always been a pretty good student, but YSA has made her much better. It's as if she is a different student now than she was before that summer, especially with confidence in writing. She has learned so many things so organically that it was fun for her. She also has amassed a notebook of "beautiful sentences" (her words) that she constructs each week for YSA and from which she later picks and chooses phrases for poetry/creative writing. This has directly led her to win awards at national literature competitions, which I don't think she would have done had she not been in YSA. What more, she has made friends at YSA through the entertaining field trips and Fun Fridays. She was the new girl, but the kids attending YSA were all very kind, friendly, and generous. My daughter didn't want the summer to end! And I can't say enough good things about her teachers and Ms. Esther, the director. The teachers at YSA are creative and detail-oriented, and they give the kids so much individualized attention because the class size is so small (6 to 8 students per teacher). Then there's Ms. Esther, who you can tell from the start really loves kids and cares about how they are doing. She knows each student by name and who their parents are, she regularly sends detailed texts and photos showing how the kids are doing, and her interaction with each child is colored by warmth. For example, she thinks so much about each child's well-being that she will gently move children into the shade at lunch lest they get too much sun (such a mom thing to do but so bracing to see when someone does it for your child). She also makes sure that they wash their hands at the right times, that they have all their belongings with them, and that they eat what their moms want them to eat before rushing off to play. Wow! The children are taken care of so well--physically, emotionally, and academically. Overall, YSA is superb, and I will sing its praises to no end.

I continue to apply what I learned in my individual sessions with Dr Downing until today. In fact, the year of counseling I received with him has been life changing for me. I am amazed how even months after my last session, I naturally continue to use the tools he taught me. They were seemingly simple when I learned them during my sessions but make a HUGE positive difference in my daily life. Dr Downing is also a wonderful listener, extremely patient, wise and empathetic, which I needed for my healing journey - to be heard as a human but not judged/immediately labeled/diagnosed like some counselors do. I wholeheartedly recommend TPC.

If you really want to learn proper conflict resolution or about tools that will help you steer conflict to a more amicable place, I highly recommend Dr. Robbins. Our relationship is flourishing after about 10 sessions. Best investment we could have made. All the best to anyone looking into getting help.
