They just moved into the offices from another office, so the only downside is it was inviting at first how bare it was with no decorations and boxes everywhere. She took her time with me. My veins had collapsed years ago for another medical condition so I was worried they were gonna poke and prod my arm. She gently took her time finding my small vein and got it the first time without picking my arm out like other doctors in the past. On top of that she did it herself, not a nurse. Glad I found a good doctor in SOC to get my physicals done!

He takes the time to listen to me and I feel like he takes my opinion into consideration when prescribing medication. We have not always agreed and I feel like he values my input. I have not always been on the same medication. He considers progress and makes adjustments accordingly. I have been to other doctors that just write a prescription and don't consider my input. This is NOT that kind of doctor. Like the others who have left reviews I also had insurance issues that took some time to rectify. They are a small office and I find that Steven and Adriana are very thorough and diligent. Some things are just out of their control and when they don't know the answer, they let me know, look into it and get right back to me. Dr. Michelson also helped get involved with an insurance issue. I think the key was being proactive and not waiting until the last minute. Everything just seems to work out. I highly recommend Dr. Michelson and his staff.

I have seen countless psychiatrists and therapists since I was a kid. This was by far the most…read moreunprofessional psychiatrist I have been to. I was trying to get an appointment to see if I have ADHD. Dr. Michelson was immediately condescending and put me in a room for 20 minutes. He had me perform one test alone followed by an about 30 question, questionnaire. I then went back to speak with him after taking the test just for him to explain my results and say "you don't have ADHD but you don't not have ADHD". He said I was somewhere in the middle, which was not a definitive answer. He then tried to immediately push some new medication on me and blamed a lot of my symptoms I've been experiencing for my entire life on a recent break up and death in my family. I truly felt like he viewed me as some college girl who just wanted meds. I just wanted a validating diagnoses as I have been struggling with many ADHD symptoms for as long as I can remember. As soon as I got out of there I broke down in my car crying because I was not listened to at all and he made me feel like I was stupid. I of course got a second opinion because his test was not thorough whatsoever. The second Psychiatry office I went to had a three step appointment process. One hour long general consultation, 3 hour in person testing, and then about 40 minutes minute results appointment about a week later, after it was fully analyzed. The three hour testing consisted of a similar test done by dr. Michelson, but also consisted of more tests with an administer in the room who gave puzzle, definition, pattern, and number tests. This was followed by a 300 question questionnaire. After this thorough testing, I was in fact diagnosed with ADHD. I didn't realize how unprofessional Dr. Michelson's practice was (the crying after the appointment should have been an immediate sign) until after I completed this testing at another office. I also learned that ADHD is extremely unreported in women and Dr. Michaelson continues to contribute to the problem. As a woman, I've been not listened to by countless doctors, and Dr. Michelson is now one to add to the list. If you're wondering if you should go to Dr. Michelson, I'd advise you to find someone more professional.

He is a incredibly intelligent and compassionate and attentive, Doctor who will truly makes every minute of your session valuable and informative. He is someone I can trust to talk about even the most embarrassing or dangerous aspects of my life without any fear of condemnation or even worse arrest. Lol I suffer from a few mental disorders that have hindered me from living any sort of happy or productive life for so long, even most of my family had finally just given up trying to help me and just walked away. But God put this Doctor in my life at the right time in my life when I was able to be receptive and willing to admit how horrible and destructive my life had become. When my primary Doctor first suggested that I seek mental health treatment, I was not surprised at all because for years Had known that I had severe Depression and Anxiety but just accepted this was the way it was always going to be and just didn't know how to even look for help. I didn't have the ability to communicate with people or have the desire or motivation to make friends or even entertain the thought of having a girlfriend because I didn't have any hope or tools to overcome my mental health issues. Meeting regularly with Dr. Webb was key , He was able to give me useful advice and tools to manage my life so much better, he became like a friend to which opened the door for me to want to make more friends , I followed Dr.Webbs advice, Made myself available to not only make some new friends, but I was able to be a friend as well, And to sum this up, one of my new friends introduced me to one of his friends, and fingers crossed are about to go out on our 3rd date! Without the guidance, support and positive words of Dr. Webb I would still be isolated by myself in my dark room, wondering if this was the way life was always gonna be and If so.. What's the point of going on? I'll tell you, Life does get better, And there is purpose, I just needed someone to point that out to me. If you need help, Come see Dr Webb, If that's not an option, please seek help elsewhere! Don't give up, In the Lord I pray.... Don't give up! -Justin Taylor

he started off friendly and acting understanding. we even had few jokes but after a while he became…read moreunresponsive and became patronizing mocking me for requesting an accomedation that I have recieved before aside the fact that it was not unreasonable due to it being dictated to me without request the first time to patronize anyone with any kind emotional struggle while laughing is just uncalled for unprofessional and holds serious lack of empathy discrimination for any reason is still discrimination he maybe not holding all of your information and personal talks to himself most will blow this review off but if ya know ya know I've been in and out of the mental health for decades I'm a former federal employee I am of sound mind and while I have issues at times with emoting I dictate coherently don't just eat up his compliments I'm guessing I'm not the only person he says is the most sane person he deals with he does a job I however have experience dealing with tons of people I saved children and lives and was mocked by my therapist for asking for a recommendation for an accomedation to my stated disability of which I've been recovering payments for since 2006 if you have ptsd or bipolar or are depressed due to things out of your control. do not accept treatment from people who deal with families and kids and don't really care doin it for a check is still doing it doesn't mean your doing it right don't mock people when they are in a bad place and especially don't do it if it's the opposite of what your job entails also side note they will send multiple reminders on multiple days from multiple different numbers and fill your email if ya block one or two to cut back they will use more numbers or call from a hidden one his job is to help you not deal with you I. ways that help others that don't understand or have negative bias I'm not like the others he works with and I hope he doesn't do that to people that struggle more than I do or have lower levels of intellect or developement Those are the things that make people feel like they have no one to turn too and cause them to act out in ways not condusi e to progress healing and sometimes even safety. It could push someone over the edge But to him it was a snide patronizing joke He also said I was his hero and laughed Yeah well I actually have physically saved lives I'm a real hero Not some vet claiming it that never saved anyone Saved a life a few weeks ago actually People like him in professions and positions of authority willing to demean deter or patronize people Are exactly why it took so long to get assistance saving the children and others and getting the slumlords busted of which I've gotten four or five now Which is not a delusion of grandure it's public record Did it alone I do not have a a job But I do have federal training and unlike him and others like him I have genuine concern for the safety and well being of even people I disagree with don't like or even hate even people who have atta led me and killed pets and vandalized my vehicle. Didn't let my personal feelings stop me from doing the right thing I did nothing to him at all You may not know when you are being mocked or patronized at times we all miss it on occasion But I vocalized a specific incident and when he couldn't think of a way to explain it He just hung up the phone Cause that's what a professional caring and totally concerned about how it may impact any action or decision made would do right Do yourself a favor and make sure you don't just read every hood review Everyone is different and even shrinks play favorites And to the point I have requested medication and other things and been put off and laughed at when making the requests until I got unpleasant Then he tries to act all sorry and like I miss understood Don't gaslight me baby boomer or Anyone else that's just evil And while I may be paranoid due to my own personal situation im coherent and together enough to know and admit I sometimes take things the wrong way or connect dots not there Doesn't mean he isn't in contact with anyone with negative bias to me as a person Unless you're around anyone 24/7. You can't know that And evrryone has known for years that some therapist do things to irritate or mock certain kinds of people Try asking a vet that doesn't get proper treatment that has no idea I even exist I've been patronized mocked denied things recieved so many reminders it borders electronic harassment Insulted and have zero positive results for anytime spent interacting with him Side note went over ten years no meds or dr and only called because I felt so horrible about snapping on someone who may not have deserved it that I became close to suicidal. They now mock me and harass me every single day while I'm in my home and he just made it worse because that's the kind of person he is way down deep on the inside where it counts. this is a personal truthful review from my perspective
