We were seated in a booth near the corner, and it was a great place to visit and talk. I enjoyed the French toast with blueberries and a side of crispy bacon. Just delicious! Highly recommend Stoney Knob Cafe if you're in the area!

But I would be remiss if I didn't express just how awful my experience at this DQ was. I can deal with the rude employees - and they were definitely rude - but the ice cream was also bizarrely bad. My Blizzard was half-melted and left a bad aftertaste in my mouth, and my wife's banana split had honest-to-God rotten bananas in it. I've never seen anything like it. Honestly, the service and the product were so comically bad at this Dairy Queen, I initially thought I was being filmed for a hidden camera show or a Tik Tok prank. But a quick look at this Yelp page tells me that my experience was far from unique. It's my sincere hope that this place's franchise owner starts giving a crap and starts paying their workers enough to care. In the meantime, I'll be driving to Asheville for my Blizzards.
