It's two miles from the interchange so you won't see anything at the actual interchange. Washington has the usual fast food places with only two gas stations, Casey's and Huck's and they both look brand new plus are really big. I'm very thankful both Casey's and McDonalds were open this early morning, including dine in service, during the 5AM hour. The McDonald's staff person was very friendly and attentive to my breakfast needs ensuring I had enough butter for my biscuit and the flavor of jelly I preferred. I ordered their big breakfast. All food was prepared correctly, was hot and well cooked. Having been driving all day and night from Florida, I needed a pick me up pit stop and I couldn't wait to get 60 more miles to Bloomington. Again, I'm so glad there were open and I could go inside to eat. They gave me my third wind.

I told them as I left the dining room that I had to walk into to try to get my food fixed that I hadn't been there for quite a while because of how we were treated before when we came. The young woman who took our order was an EXCELLENT representative of her store. Perfect service, couldn't be better. All of the vegetables and meats looked super fresh and delicious (and they were when I tasted my sandwich) and the Italian Artisan bread was fresh and delicious. The young man had been tending to the fresh vegetables when we arrived and then took the order of an older woman who arrived and he beamed the same friendly smile at her that our server gave us during our entire experience.
