I pulled up to the order box just as the sky opened up and dumped a deluge of rain on us. I got my order through the speaker and pulled to the windows. The staff member was soaking wet from the blowing rain, as I was also getting soaked inside the car opening my windows to pay. He remained polite and cheerful and quickly got our order out to us so we could get on our way to our hotel. Customer service here gets 5 solid stars. Inside our hotel, we were pleased to find our order filled accurately and even to include extra napkins, extra Arby's sauce, and extra ketchup. The food was still hot and for the bay being wet, our food was amazing. Good customer service is what creates loyal customers. This Arby's location is exceeding in that tal far better than many other Arby's location.

Sometimes that means a delay in a server finding you. Nay, nay. She was prompt, attentive and knowledgeable. She was great. Because I scanned the menu ahead of time, I knew that I wanted the trio of wursts. They were among the best I've had. My server talked me into the potato salad. It was great. Along with the wursts, I ordered a salad and completely enjoyed their house made blue cheese dressing. The beer menu had Spaten Special. Spaten is a rare treat for and this is the first time I have even enjoyed it on tap. When I was leaving, I was able to buy a six pack of harder to find German beers. My adult son loves German beer and did not even recognize one I brought that he loved. Restraining myself, I made only modest purchases in the gift shop. This will not be true next visit. As far as the museum aspect, there are many displays. Down one wall are many car models, train models, liquor decanters and numerous other German items. Not wanting fast food, we decided to stop at this Applebee's location on the North end of town. Our experience and continued experiences here have made this a regular stop for us. We were greeted as we walked in the door by two young ladies who genuinely seemed to enjoy their job instead of the typical attitude displayed by so many service workers who seemed put out for having to look up from their phones. The entire server and bar staff were engaging, friendly, and helpful during our visit, and when we made a special order to accommodate my wife's dairy allergy, they took our requests seriously. It is a very comfortable place to relax, unwind from the road, and enjoy a meal and cold beer before heading to our hotel for the night. The food has been excellent on each visit and prepared perfectly. Portion sizes are huge, so I usually order off the appetizer menu and have always left satisfied. My wife loves their Chicken Oriental Salad. They also offer a full selection of ice-cold draft beers in either 16-ounce or 22-ounce glasses. A perfect treat to finish out a long day traveling.
