Ordered sandwiches on app- to make it a faster process. Boy! Was I wrong! Picked up sandwiches got them home, and no meat... Thinking we got someone else's order, hubby calls Subway. Proceeded to tell Subway associate on the phone there was no meat on both our sandwiches... she puts him on hold and then comes back to say her co-worker said she put meat on our sandwiches... Wait, what? I'm looking at 2 footlongs with no meat just veggies...did she just call us a liar!? I can assure you there's no meat then made us feel like we took the meat off... she done bumped her head! ‍ So hubby had to go back and have our sandwiches made right, but the kicker was the associate was going to put the meat on the sandwiches we brought back! No no- you messed up now make it right! Cheese stuck to the bread so it was obvious no sandwich tampering! People have lost their damn minds! Frustrating because we are not a big city with food on every corner. Do better! Now I have to order in person! Next time- apologize for the mixup and make it right for the customer! Service was horrendous. Got charged multiple times. They tipped their selves without my permission made both sandwiches incorrectly were very rude. Added way too many pickles to my shit they're racist and I think they were judging me because of my sexuality and as unrealistic as that sounds, it is true, and nobody deserves to be judged the way I felt judged at the subway the entire scene of the subway made me very uncomfortable, and I felt looked at and judged the entire time. read more

Arrived before pick up time waited for the status to change to Ready for pick up never did so I went in at the time telling me when it'll should ready. This location needs to be shut down. Everything about my order is nasty slimy the ENTIRE BREAD soggy not toasted AT ALL. I asked politely in the extra commentary for extra toasted please as well as thank you. Nope not at all toasted just slapped the cheese on bread without putting in the toast to melt. Also looks like she just threw on as much as little as they please then putting TWO butt sides of the tomato and ripped slices. The bread was already a sponge when picked up and she tried to wrap the already wrapped up soaked sandwich with many napkins!! Like what are you even doing at a place of work whiles having no work ethic or decency or ANY KNOWLEDGE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. Tried to order online to save time. It was saying they were out of stock of the sandwich I wanted. Got to the restaurant to order the older middle eastern woman was absolutely the rudest person. Made my sandwich completely wrong when I tried to change it she looked up with a death. Then said avocado I said sure, she spread it and then said that will be a dollar extra. After it was spread on. Just an over all bad experience. First time at a subway in over ten years. If you work customer maybe actually like your job or learn out to fake it. Been here in the past several times and the sandwiches were just OK. Called to support local businesses through COVID-19. I have been getting a BOGO offer on the Subway app so wanted to use it. Could not get the offer to work so I called and was told they do not accept the offer and all Subways on Hwy 12 are the same, I assume they own them all. This is a deal breaker for me when there is a national ad campaign and the restaurant does not participate. I will never come back. it seems crazy that advertising money was spent to get business, and it worked as I tried to order, but the individual restaurant does not honor the promotion, so they not only lost business but lost a customer. Avoid this place at all cost. I had 3 unused $20 gift cards. When I ran them the owner said there was only $10 on one, $7 on the other, and nothing on the 3rd. Gave me no receipt after paying cash for the remaining balance. When I got home I checked the balance on the card the owner said had no balance, there was a $20 balance on it. Shady place. Even though every store is independently owned and operated, if you've been to one Subway, you've been to them all. Except Valley Springs. Most Subway stores I have been in up and down the valley are all just OK. Some a little cleaner than others (some just plain gross). I am a big stickler for cleanliness in restaurants, and the Valley Springs Subway is the cleanest Subway I have ever seen. I usually order a salad, which for Subway, is pretty much a sandwich without bread. All of their veggies are crisp and fresh. Sometimes tomatoes can be a little under-ripe. That's not to be unexpected. I really like the attitude of the people who have been working there when I visit. They never have that "pushed out of shape" look like some other Subway employees do. They smile, and seem very happy that you are there. Service gets 4 or 5 stars. Cleanliness gets 5 stars. Food gets 4 stars. Prices get 4 stars - Let me explain that one.. Because they charge the same for a "veggie" sandwich as they do for one with meat in it. It doesn't mean you get more veggies either, you just don't get meat, and you pay the same ($5). OK, I admit, that's petty... I admit it. But a big deal to me!!! So, I order a salad instead since they do charge less for an all-veggie salad than one with meat on it. read more

THREE times I asked for EVERYTHING on my veggie sandwich, EXCEPT MAYO please. The clerk still asked me at the end if I wanted mustard & mayo. She moved pretty fast with the sandwich assembly, but I guess holding a conversation with her co-workers at the same time causes a loss of concentration. Then she asked me if I wanted to buy a container of cookies for $5. Yum!!! YES, I said! I commented on how delicious the macadamia nut cookies looked. I paid for my order with my ATM card and noticed a discrepancy. She looked perplexed when I pointed out that she didn't ring up the cookies. "Oh, oops. Do you still want them?" Um, NO. Don't order the new Savory Chicken Caesar Wrap! Don't know if this is all Subways or just the one in VS. No shredded parmesan or Romaine lettuce in the store. The only thing Caesar about it was, supposedly, the dressing which didn't taste like Caesar at all. I was in a hurry and hungry so ordered to go. Had I known they lacked key ingredients I never would have ordered. I have had better Caesar wrap from grocery store AND for a lot less $. Grossest wrap I have ever eaten. Stick to basic sandwich. The crew working Sat. 9/27/16 were great, we pre-ordered a couple of platters for a family function, everything was ready & looking good all the trimmings / veggies were neatly arranged separate from the sandwiches to stay fresh. This is THE WORST subway I have ever been to. Worst customer service and no offense but some snobby high school brats making your sandwich with an "I don't wanna be here" look on their face. To top all of this off the owners were there and they are the worst of all I don't know how they can have a business in such a small town and still manage to have a business with the way that they treat customers. My mother has a few food restrictions for medical reasons and they wouldn't accommodate what so ever without charging extra for it when it wasn't a big deal at all. Okay it's one thing to charge extra for not giving us bread on our sandwich (she just wanted the meet and veggies). Yes charge extra!! For keeping their cheap bread. Weird.
