As everyone and their mother has already pointed out their prices were too damn high! It's one thing to pay more to go to a sit down burger joint in Royal Oak where you get to soak in that classic 50s theme all around you with extensive decor but what's the point when it's a former Checker's in St. Clair Shores with only a drive thru and a couple of outside tables with zero ambiance. You can sit and look over at the Burger King where everything would have been cheaper. Or at least you could. The food isn't that special to justify the extra expense. Went here a couple times which was one too many and the grub didn't seem nearly as good as the OG Comet Burger in Royal Oak. Me typing out this review is the very definition of beating a dead horse and I got over a hundred other things to review but I just couldn't resist.

They had the same food as the other location. It is a cute little spot. My husband ordered space cowboy burger and it is his favorite. I got a comet slider and it was delicious. The fries were good but to be honest I am going to admit they taste even better at the other location. The service was amazing. The lady working told us that she loves the owner. Meat is brought in fresh every day. The fries are dropped fresh every time as well. We would love to come visit again soon.

This happens at most McDonald's I have tried. The only one where I actually was served food, served me a luke warm Big Mac that the patty was torn about an inch. I cannot understand how this company stays in business anymore - their service is really bad - no matter which one I go to! I go to Burger King and am eatting my food within 10 minutes - what is wrong with McDonald's these days? They want more pay, but do they deserve it? Absolutely not! Thus, having the order 100% complete a few minutes early is better than making us wait 15-20 minutes later than the pickup time was supposed to be.
