10 months ago I wrote the review below. On that day the service I received at this Subway was horrible. I was treated rudely and felt the need to leave a review. I have been to this Subway a few times since this review and have received great customer service but with that being said the owner/employee was not present. I have actually tried to use the Subway app when ordering to limit the interaction with her. The reason I go to this subway is because it is close to my work and like I said have recieved great service when a certain employee is not working. I walked into this Subway today with 7 orders. I was greated kindly by a gentleman. However, when I got to the next lady she began to yell at me, cursing at me. She wanted to know what my review was about. A review I remind you that is 10 mths old. I explained to her that the reason I wrote it was based on a very poor experience that I had and that's what reviews are for. The situation escalated quickly. She screamed at me and cursed at me and even the other two employees followed suit. There were many people in the Subway trying to order among all this chaos. I do apologize for them having to deal with her missed guided rant. It went as far as her refusing to sell me anything and threating to call then police if I didnt leave. She also threated "you need to take down your review today or else!!!" She said that my review was slander and she would turn me in (not sure to whom or for what exactly). I can't believe how I was talked to today... word to the wise dont write a review on this place if you dont want verbally assaulted and threatened. #eatfresh at a different subway! (Original review below) I am not a fan of this Subway. There owner/employee is rude and unfriendly. She has an attitude about everything and has zero customer service. I have given this subway many opportunities to change my mind but everytime I go there it's exactly the same. I literally dread going into this Subway read more

In a small town like Kingwood, West Virginia, this could be considered fine dining... especially considering how long it took to simply place my order in a restaurant that had less than three other patrons. Sandwich was drenched in oil and garlic seasoning, which made the next morning interesting for the poor guy sitting next to me. Very limited chip selection. Overall a clean restaurant and will work in a pinch when you don't want fast food or pizza. read more

When we arrived a sweet young girl was cleaning the dining room my fiancé politely asked her if we were still aloud to eat in because it seems like they were getting ready to close even tho this restaurant states they don't close until 9pm! You could tell this young lady was new but politely told us yes we could eat in! As we walked in to order our food their was another girl their with black hair I have seen here their on multiple occasions. She seemed upset that we wanted to eat in, she began to take all the cookies to the back of the restaurant, banging dishes around and everything! The other young lady was very nice took our order with a smile and didn't seem upset at all. Also the girl with the black hair that was training her was extremely rude to this young lady she was not very helpful at all. I work fast food I understand the need to get things clean for close but this was just ridiculous when they did not close until 9pm!! They had all their chairs up in the lobby so we had to take down our own chairs just to eat! I'm not sure who's running this place but they need to look into this because me and my family love going to this subway but lately the service has just been really unfortunate.

I came in, and immediately I was told to sit wherever I like. I chose the bar, even though They don't serve or have alcohol in the restaurant (But they sell it in the store). My server was a nice younger gal and took really good care of me throughout my entire trip and even chit chatted with me for a while here and there. They have so many good things on the menu that I wanted, especially biscuits and gravy, but I want to no carb kick So I had to stay disciplined! And I tell ya it was hard! I ordered the hot wings. I asked my server if they were breaded, but they're not they're naked and that's exactly what I wanted. They came out super hot, and we're really really good. I followed it up with a two pork chop supper and green beans. The pork chops were a little smaller than I was expecting, but it was still a perfect amount of food for me. They were boneless, tender and moist and my green beans were not too bad either. Cute little restaurant, this looks like a local diner because I noticed a lot of townspeople inside eating every time I went in or went by. I'm glad I stopped here! I'm fighting myself not to go in and get breakfast. I just went in there and bought coffee, but I'm afraid if I go in there I'll give in and eat carbs! Thank you for the stay Little Sandy's!
