We ordered at the kiosk and ordered 4 combos for 4 people - one was a chicken tender combo. We were told they were out of tenders and asked if the 10 piece nuggets were ok instead. We accepted the substitution, but I then noticed that the price we had already paid for the tender combo was $1.70 higher than the cost of the nugget combo on the menu. It's not much, but it should be made right so I asked for a refund. Abby told us that she couldn't just refund the $1.70. I told her that she should be able to and asked what she suggested to make it right. (At that time I was mildly annoyed but understood that she could only do what she could do). She offered a cookie, I said no and asked if she could refund the tenders and charge for the nuggets. She did but only for the item and the difference did not work out. She gave me $8.30 back and requested $6.97 - again a small difference but because she refunded for the items instead of the combos it was incorrect. She argued with me telling me that she had done as I asked by refunding the tenders and charging of the nuggets. I told her that if you did that math it didn't work out and that I had ordered the combo so she needed to refund the tender combo and charge for the nugget combo. Kait involved herself and some point screaming across the counter at me that Abby had done exactly as I had asked. Abby told Kait that she had it and Kait did back off. I returned the $8.30 that Abby had given me and asked for her to refund and charge for the combos so that it would add up correctly. Abby said that she would just refund "that part of the order" and not include it in the order. We felt that was nasty - she was going to give 4 people 3 combos because she couldn't give a simple refund of $1.70 for the difference in their substitution because they did not have an item. We asked instead for a full refund and no food. She entered the refund and somehow came up with $45.45, she gave me $45.35 (by accident, I believe) even though our Apple Pay charge was $46.12. I asked for the $0.10 and we asked why the refund wasn't the same as our original charge. She argumentative and irritated again, we quickly decided not to worry about the small difference this time especially since we had already received our drinks which would have cost more than the difference. She said she would give me the $0.10 and that was it. She literally threw the coins into my hand and we left. The girls clearly made another employee uncomfortable as he left the front area that he had been working and went to the back of the restaurant - I did not get his name. There was another employees who witnessed their behavior - I did not get his name either but he was tall and I believe he was working in the food prep area.
