She also told us we need to return to try their KFC chicken, which we will most definitely do on our return to Edmonton. The sweet garlic Parmesan fries were addictive: slightly sticky sweet (but not too sweet - just enough to make you want to eat another bite), wonderfully garlicky, and perfectly Parmesan flavored. The bulgogi pasta was well done: nicely al dente and well seasoned. The truffle flavor was a bit mild for my taste but the overall flavor was still delicious. I don't know WHAT is in the salad dressing (did I get a hint of Asian pear?) but it was so refreshing and different from any dressing I've had before. Plus the salad greens, julienned beets, and radishes were super fresh. This is not your average gas station food. If you're ever in the area, please give this place a try! Parking is easy and the gas station is not too far off the highway.

The friendly and efficient staff are kind and get the order done while being neighborly . The local people who gather for coffee and breakfast each morning appreciate the location as one of the community gathering spots. This is the kind of thing that makes a difference not only for people looking for a reasonably priced, fast food meal, but for communities long term. I appreciated the fact that my dad can visit with his friends from the area each morning and he knows the reliable and kind folks at A&W will be there for them each day. Located in a small strip mall, it's a high ceiling open space that lends itself well to safe dining. Tables are nicely separated and booths have guards between them. The lemon glaze had just the perfect amount of tart! Was a difficult decision choosing a doughnut flavour. The iced coffee with English toffee was just perfect for this sunny Alberta morning. All the reviews are correct. It's a must stop coffee shoppe. Easily one of my favourites when I come 'home' to Lacombe.
