Service was slow and rude. Food was overpriced and I won't be going back. Next time I will just go to Subway.

This has been our go to restaurant for years. I was disappointed with the whole experience for the…read morefirst time on Saturday night. The service was great as always. I did call for a reservation in the morning for 8 plus a 2 year old. We were put in the private area which was okay. They charged us a 18 percent gratuity without telling me in advance. We always tip without being forced to. The food was okay but was charged for any extras including butter chives and bacon bits for the baked potato. There were no buns offered which were always were before. We were there for my birthday and probably won't be back.

Well now, who knew I'd find a decently new and well-manicured lounge in Lacombe? Not I until I did…read morea search for lunch and came up with this recommendation from Kyle G. Though even from his description, I thought it was going to be a seedy looking joint with great food! Instead, it ended up being a good-sized restaurant and sports bar. I sat on the bar side (it was pretty empty, but it was a weekday afternoon!). Sometimes, when places are empty, it's even harder to get service. Not here, the one server/bartender on for the afternoon was prompt with my drink order and a lunch menu. Lunch fare is usually pub food but with a Greek twist. Expect to find sandwiches, burgers and wrap.. but also some entrees like spanakopita. I opted for the grilled vegetable and chicken piadina (or piatina? something like that). It was a grilled pita filled with veggies, chicken, feta cheese and sauce. Soooo good! It hit the spot for a hungry wanderer like myself. There's nothing overly special about the drinks... the usual big name beers are on tap or in bottle. I'd up another star if they carried some Alberta beers. The bathrooms were also very clean and as new as the rest of Leto's! Clean bathrooms like this in a small town impress the pants off me... pardon the bathroom pun. There was a cash machine on premise, so I'm not sure if they accept debit or not.

You would think I'd give any place that would serve me a beer an automatic five during these COVID…read moretimes. Tollers Bistro's food is certainly worthy but since each of its previous five ratings are fives, I'll go against the grain with a four, as there is always room for improvement. Located in a small strip mall, it's a high ceiling open space that lends itself well to safe dining. Tables are nicely separated and booths have guards between them. However, there is no sanitizer available at the entrance and I noticed the waitress seating customers without masks, so a little more effort regarding patron's safety would be nice. The food is excellent. Great menu, lots of choice and really interesting. We did some sharing, fish tacos, sweet potato fries, and cauliflower bites. Fish was battered, not normally my favourite, but was light and really tasty. Maybe the best sweet potatoes ever and the cauliflower bites are a meal, lightly breaded and tasty, maybe too big to be shared with just two people, most of ours came home. Staff is friendly and attentive. Waitress didn't know the beer list and suggested I "go look", which is fine but there weren't that many to remember. She did, however, bring us a takeaway box without being asked as she noticed the cauliflower bites still lingering on the plate. I can agree with the previous fives, but there is always room for improvement, at Tollers it's just some attention to detail. Great spot!

The lemon glaze had just the perfect amount of tart! Was a difficult decision choosing a doughnut flavour. The iced coffee with English toffee was just perfect for this sunny Alberta morning. All the reviews are correct. It's a must stop coffee shoppe. Easily one of my favourites when I come 'home' to Lacombe.
