We stated that we were and she brought us down the hall to this second room which was very open and definitely had a more bar feel to it. We initially picked this place due to it's cheap prices and variety of food. Service was great! Despite only one lady being both the bartender and server she was friendly and attentive and had no problem with our big group. At one point one of the plates of food she was carrying out slipped and crashed onto the floor. She quickly replaced the meal and apologized to the person in our group who ordered it. The reaction to the food from the people in our group did very from it was ok to it was great. Everyone agreed it wasn't bad and that the service and drinks were great though. I ordered spiked pink lemonade drink, and Chicken fingers with medium sauce and fries with gravy on the side. I was initially worried the sauce would make the chicken fingers soggy but thankfully it didn't. The sauce was just the right mix of kick and flavor. The fries were great, similar to a new York style of fries and the gravy was delicious. My pink lemonade drink was awesome! For only $6 it was definitely a good choice. I posted a comment on their Facebook page and the people of picton started attacking me because I commented my concern on there instead of contacting owner. I said I'm a long time customer and don't know the owner and I also said that isn't what this is for?. The person who controls the Facebook page instead of contacting me actually blocked me from their page. I do like their subs but the completely suck for service. I expect this to be deleted as well as they obviously edit out their bad reviews.

They were ready a few minutes later, so we took our food out to an available bench and began eating. These are some seriously terrific subs. I started with the 1830 and it pretty much blew me away right from the first bite. The super tender (and plentiful) meat is enhanced by the other components, and honestly I'd be happy eating that sandwich every day for the rest of my life. The Sunny-Lea fares just as well and really does taste like Thanksgiving in sandwich form. Really, really phenomenal. I'm sad to say that I don't remember what we got last year, just that we loved it. So of course, we had to repeat again this year! And oh man, it did not disappoint. I didn't want to eat with my toddler because I did NOT want to share. I gave him a few fries because he could smell them but there was no chance he was going to touch my sandwich. Hubby got the Texan brisket (special and the last one!) and I got the chicken pesto panini. My wonderful husband offered to do splitsies and ... well, he only got a couple bites. Sadly, because of said toddler and infant in tow, we couldn't eat it there when the fries were fresh so they were a tad sad when we finally sat to eat them. No dock on Flossie's - that's our fault. You have the choice of the usual sides, but the coleslaw definitely stands out with a creamy and sweet but well balanced profile. The bread had a good texture contrast to the soft beef and the crispy onions. The juice from the meat and the cheddar worked really well. It was more of a service counter takeout, but they have seating around the area. The location is definitely not what I expected at first, but really if you're going for the food, then that's all that should matter. They have a big selection in their menu, and I'm looking forward to trying more.
