Ok so boom. I've never been to Hardee's before. Yes yes i know I'm late. But anyway, after a day of…read morethrifting me and my mom went to get food. After driving around town and seeing lines wrapped around every fast food restaurant, my mom caught the Hardee's ad for a chicken and waffle sandwich (which is like her favorite combo of sweet and savory). So we decided to try them. Luckily for us no one was in line! She of course ordered the chicken and waffle sandwich combo, I got the mushroom and Swiss burger combo (both with bacon ranch fries). The service was great ! Food came out pretty quick (maybe 7 minute wait). I must say the burger was so good! How good you ask? So good my mom went back and ordered another one. As for the waffle sandwich?? Mom said it was just ok lol. But we both agreed the bacon ranch fries were great! Fresh, and had a great amount of thick REAL bacon on it. They seem to have a meatier patty, a fresher, softer and thicker bun, and slightly larger steamed onion slivers and pickles. Also, the biggest difference is that the sliders came standard with mustard. More substantial than White Castle. Delicious! We also tried the sliders with cheese and bacon, which were even better! My wife ordered the mini corn dog and chili dog, which were perfect! The fries and tots were good but nothing over-the-top. If you are ever in Philadelphia, MS then you must try a Krystal slider.
