I was extra hungry, so I also ordered the tri tip sandwich with a side of mac and cheese. The sandwich was generously packed and the tri tip was delicious. The meat was tender, lean, and perfectly seasoned. It came with a barbecue sauce that had a nice spicy kick, which made it stand out from typical sauces. The mac and cheese did not look flashy, but it ended up being one of the best I have had from a local restaurant. It was not the typical super cheesy style. Instead, it was rich, creamy, and really satisfying. We also tried the cornbread, which was only $1 and a pretty big piece. This was the only item I was not as much of a fan of, as it was a bit dry and crumbly for my taste.
