I decided to try Geogia's on Holywood High Street as there's always a queue and I've always wondered if it was actually worth waiting for. First thing I am going to say is the staff are great, there were 3 working when I went in and they seemed to be running a tight ship, each person had their job and they were performing their jobs to perfection. I asked if they took debit card but unfortunately they didn't. The chap working said I could place my order and go to the ATM further up the road and by the time I got back my food would be ready. He wasn't wrong because I came back to the shop just in time to answer the all important question, 'Do you want salt and vinegar?' The food itself was good, although not mind blowing. There's plenty of competition in this area for fish and chips so Georgia's always had a lot to live up to. I got a 'Cod Supper' - I got loads of chips (too many) but the fish portion wasn't huge although it was fried to perfection. The meal was enjoyable and I will definitely be back although I might try something different from their large menu.

Its menus consists of a combination of the most popular of al the big fast food outlets, including chicken meals like KFC and burger meals like in Mc Donald's. The standard is always good if you just want a quick bite to eat. Everything is always well cooked and things are served fast, which are the main things you are looking for in a fast food outlet. Where it has the edge on takeaways and chip shops is its small but perfectly formed deserts range, as it has a lot of keenly priced ice cream sundaes and muffins that are very nice for the minimal price! My best Supermac's memory thought is as part of the Des Bishop Work Experience that was on RTE a few years ago. If you have the cash or the spare hard drive space if you catch my drift, check it out and you'll get a slightly harsher insight into life at an outlet like this!

What I got was a tortilla wrap soaked in sauce, wilted brown lettuce, a few massive chunks of onion and 9 small slices of rubbery meat. Owner told me I should have ordered a mixed kebab if I wanted a bigger one. It was inedible, I also order a kids meal, the chips looked like they were cooked a few times and left over night then reheated. Again inedible. Wouldn't visit this place if I was paid.

Yes, that's right all of those things. To be honest you probably wouldn't eat here unless it was post 1am and you'd had a few alcoholic beverages. Most of the chicken is precooked as they have it on display behind a glass screen in store. Anatolia stays open late on weekend nights. It's really the only takeaway in Holywood that stays open when pubs kick out. After a few beers you will be forgiven for thinking the light coming from Anatolia is a mirage but persevere a reward of a kebab is at the end of your journey.
