Once you've had a sandwich here, you'll never step foot in a Subway ever again. That's a promise. We like to add a bag of Great Lakes potato chips to our pile of goodies, specifically the Parmesan Ranch flavor (soooo good!) They carry a wide range of local and Michigan-made products, including Great Harvest Bread Company's delicacies and Grand Traverse Pie Company's pies. DO NOT leave without a bottle of Dearborn honey mustard, Srodek's pierogies, Pop Daddy pretzels & popcorn, and some freshly-made sausages and brats. Any meats you're looking for, they've got it. Unique sauces, dressings, and spice mixes... they've also got you covered. The store is small, but everything they sell is top choice. If they don't have it, you don't need it! Recently my fellow co workers have mooned in on getting some I was told when I went in and ordered to call ahead. Well I did and let's just say I called a hour and half for a few sandwiches less then 5 and said the time I was picking it up and I showed up and nothing was done there standing now 20 minutes in to me waiting they tell me they sold out of the bread I wanted but that's why I called ahead. Now looking at waiting 30 minutes for something that was ordered 2 hours ago I'm really losing hope of this place I've received few words from one kid months ago when I said I wanted a sandwich he mumbled great another f**$in sandwich. I love it here but I think I'm done I've been here for hundreds of sandwiches and meats. I hope this make it way to where it should because the sandwich's also look the worst out of all. Horrible job gentlemen.

Remember: Bring cash! Used a card, and the cashier had to type it in manually (it was nice of them to do that). Now for the food - We got a few meats--turkey pastrami, corned beef and a "wildcard" (I let the staff pick, and whatever it was it was good). We also got the special spices etc. I do prefer a more of an Italian sandwich on a hard roll, so I'm not sure the soft onion roll is for me. If you like a cold sandwich un-toasted and generally basic with a bit of a twist, you will love this! My husband and I enjoyed the sandwich (split it, and they put mayo on half at my request). It's a charming spot, quality food and I'm glad we tried it. Skip the spicy potato salad. It was bland, sadly.

I had the 2 meats (turkey and turkey pastrami) with everything sans pickles plus love spice on an onion roll. I'm beyond satisfied and it was divine! The price was reasonable for a deli sandwich at $10 before tax and 4% card fee. I usually go for corned beef at the deli, but this was a leaner yet equally tasty option in an attempt to be more health conscious. Needless to say, I'll be back! Thanks, ladies!
