I was astonished at how yummy everything was. I polled everyone in our group, and we all agreed, it was a fantastic meal! We had chicken tenders and fries for the little ones, chicken quesadillas, pulled pork, and veggie wraps with chips. All the food was fresh, piping hot, with generous portions and delicious. SO: if you are ever visiting Story Land, I highly recommend setting aside some time for Teddy's Lunchbox. There is nothing about the setting or the building that would say they are offer anything but the usual amusement park food, but let me tell you: Teddy's Lunchbox delivered food that went WAY beyond my expectation. It is truly a diamond in the rough.

We went to Gorham House of Pizza twice during our three day trip to the area. "House of Pizza"…read morerestaurants are honestly one of the greatest things in New England. Every town has one, they all have their own unique vibe, and yet at the same time, you know what to expect at one. I mean, I've literally been to the Gorham HOP in Gorham, ME, too and it's just as good. Gotta love it. My two meals were a turkey sub and a burger and I'd give both of them five stars on their own. My partner's pizza and sub were also very good. The mozzarella sticks and the chicken fingers were just okay I think - those are the low points. My son's sauceless cheese pizza - one of his staple foods (lol) - was good both times.

**This is an updated to a previous review I did back in March of 2024**…read more My Dad's place continues to be my family's go-to local restaurant. My wife and I recently joined their Mug Club which had a very reasonable price to join and the mugs will be a great keepsake. I realized I left 4-stars before as a result of the handicap parking experience, but the quality of the food, the amazing personalities and customer service from the staff and having sat down and talked with the owners they deserve all five stars. The presence on social media is well received and they keep their consumers well informed of menu changes, specials, live music and engage regularly with comments. The food continues to be impressive especially their appetizers. The dunker dads are a nice fried dough style bread bite (made from their pizza dough I believe) dressed in a parmesan dusting with side of both marinara and their house made Alfredo sauce. Their burgers are phenomenal, their pizza is a family favorite and they do offer a vegan cheese so I can indulge in some of their dinner favorites that involve cheese. If you are int he Livermore Falls, Jay, Wilton area, you HAVE to take a ride and try My Dad's place. They have some parking near the building and across the street is additional parking. If you want to beat their dinner crowd, especially on Friday/Saturday you need to be there before 5pm and maybe earlier if they are having live music on their deck where there is an additional bar.

But this is one of the best, most unique locations of McDonalds I have experienced. I was up in the mountains with no cell service and cold, so when I parked and moseyed on in to this here location the first thing I noticed was a McFireplace in the middle of the dining room. In a McDonalds? In this economy? You do not see a fireplace in most McDonalds, especially when it is cold out. The McRestrooms were clean, showing that the store actually cared about keeping up appearances beyond the fireplace too. Surprisingly, they had no humans that could field an order. So I had to go order on the robot machine. I was only getting a drink, to drink near the fire before getting back on the road, and it was ready extremely quickly. Do the robots make drinks now too?
