I have volunteered with Ronald McDonald House and generally think well of McDonalds as a result, so you should take anything I McSay about them with a McGrain of salt. But this is one of the best, most unique locations of McDonalds I have experienced. I was up in the mountains with no cell service and cold, so when I parked and moseyed on in to this here location the first thing I noticed was a McFireplace in the middle of the dining room. In a McDonalds? In this economy? You do not see a fireplace in most McDonalds, especially when it is cold out. The McRestrooms were clean, showing that the store actually cared about keeping up appearances beyond the fireplace too. Surprisingly, they had no humans that could field an order. So I had to go order on the robot machine. I was only getting a drink, to drink near the fire before getting back on the road, and it was ready extremely quickly. Do the robots make drinks now too? We just stopped at 7:24 am to head a bite of breakfast. As we stood waiting at the checkout to make an order, a worker came into view. She snapped, "order at the kiosk--I'm busy." How did this place even get two stars. Ok this is my morning and afternoon place to go for coffee and dessert. I hike the White Mountains and have in the past enjoyed their coffee and treats. Today in the afternoon, the bathroom was filthy. Trash cans over flowing with trash. Zero toilet paper in the bathroom. When I placed my order for black ice coffee and large fries, light salt. I got coffee with cream and sugar and extra salt on the fries. Returned the order and they made me wait of course. Why is this place even open? In the future I will take my business elsewhere. I came in for a quick pick-up to avoid the long queue along the drive-thrus. The cleaning condition seems off. Simply speaking, I cannot bear the mosquitoes near the kiosk and the kitchen. It seems like this McDonald's is definitely understaffing, which is quite common in vacation areas. Everyone is busy with orders and cooking. McDonald's, you had one job and you failed miserably. My order was a large drink and two sausage burritos with sauce. The person taking my order entered my drink incorrectly multiple times. The person taking my order then asked me specifically after I had already asked for sauce on my sausage burritos if I wanted sauce, I reiterated that yes I would enjoy some sauce this evening on my sausage burritos. We went to the Lincoln McDonald's on 10/11/2021 around 7 pm during a moment of weakness after a day of beautiful fall foliage and calling countless restaurants who all refused to do takeout. We drove up to a miraculously short wait, unusual for the busiest week of the entire season. The young woman taking the orders had an incongruous measure of steely determination underneath her overly-friendly voice, like a battle-hardened general in a prom dress. The wait was so short and the menu screens so overwhelming in their immaculate radiance that for a second I hesitated--did I want a double cheeseburger, or two *separate* cheeseburgers? After a pause that felt like an eternity I managed to relay my order and the general thanked me for it in an alarmingly sincere tone. At that moment I realized that she was wholly invested in her role, even though it was probably just one stepping stone of hyper-competence on her path to global domination. I'm not sure if this is a typical experience but somehow, this is the best McDonald's I have ever been to. The fries are always perfect, the buns are never stale, the people are always super friendly. I can't believe I am giving a 5 star review for a McDonalds but here we are. M'eh. Came in for a late lunch/early dinner. Needed bathroom break and drive thru line was long for mid afternoon. Men's room was,....just wet, everywhere, did my business, washed my hands and got out. Wife reported ladies room was disgusting. Stood at the register to order for a couple minutes to order, ignored by everybody in the kitchen. A guy stepped up asking if he could help, when I told him I just wanted to order, he pulled me over to the kiosk and said he'd put it in for me. I had couple questions before I put in an decent sized order....but, spent enough time already. Got two apple pies, and made tracks out of town to spend my money where service was job one, not DIY where they do the minimal amount of work, and I don't get paid to do it for them. A Tale of Two McDonald's! Proof that not all two Golden Arches are alike - every review here has proven to be correct, both good and bad ones, with my experiences here thus far. The Good: They have some staff member(s) almost non-stop making the dining area clean and comfortable. Even the bathrooms are well maintained. Of course, there's currently a "come inside and see our new look" sign at the driveway entrance, which tells me it's not going to have a ton of wear-and-tear yet, anyway. Inside at the front counter, the people you interact with are pleasant and are efficient at taking orders. The Bad: Sigh. So bad. The kitchen is a far cry from a well-oiled machine, as wait times of 20-30 minutes during even non-rush hours are proving to be common. The drive-thru is really not much better. And they are terribly unapologetic about it. In fact, you can feel the tension and stress at the pass and in the kitchen seeping into the crowd of long-waiting patrons. What I've noticed - the kitchen comes to a halt when something is made incorrectly and the order comes back (which seems to be very common). Every time a person walks up to the counter with a burger in-hand or a receipt ready for viewing, you know a mix-up is about to add 5-10 minutes to your wait time. Patrons were joking amongst themselves about just how terrible the wait had become. Worse - at least in the old days, orders came in from the registers or drive thru only. Now, even when the staff struggles to catch up, orders continue to pile on via their digital kiosks (two of them) and their McApp on people's phones. Tonight I ordered hash browns for my sons at dinner - why? They love hash browns over french fries, and it's an "all-day breakfast" item. I'd ordered on my app and pulled into the drive-thru. Two cars ahead of me took 10 minutes of waiting before I got to the first pay window, but I'd already paid via the app. The older lady there told me they were substituting small fries for the Hash Browns since they don't make them past lunch. I knew that was total BS - I've ordered them for a good year for lunch/dinner times, including at this same McD's yesterday! I held my cool and asked for a refund for the hash browns rather than fight her over it. Another 5 minutes(!) I was at the pickup window and the manager apologized to me and said " that person has no idea what she's talking about" and gave me a free extra value meal coupon for my next visit. Rectified!? With a bit of stress and attitude from two different employees, I suppose. Oh, and she did give me the refund, yet the two hash browns were in the bag anyway. As for the food? My boys say this place has the best hash browns of all McD's. I think their food (having lived with a mistaken sandwich, not what I'd ordered) was fresh and tasty enough. A solid 2 stars for food quality and cleanliness, but a seriously "take a look at your operating style" -3 stars for their inadequacies in the kitchen and at point-of-sales. We are not frequent McDonald's visitors but we are here on vacation and this is quick and easy for breakfast. Unfortunately, we have had two bad experiences two days in a row. Yesterday, we waited in the drivethru line for ten minutes with only one other car ahead of us. It was so long, that the car behind us sped away impatiently to which the person working at the drivethru yelled "Enjoy your breakfast at Dunkin' that will cost you twice as much." Today, we were met with construction in the bathroom that was deafeningly loud and made for a miserable experience. We ordered a Big Breakfast and Hot Cakes but they did not have any knives. They gave us plastic ware that was so cheap that it snapped when I tried to cut any food with it. My food was lukewarm including the biscuit which I couldn't butter because it wasn't hot enough to melt the butter to spread, which I guess doesn't matter because I didn't have a knife to spread it anyway! I had to return an cold, soggy hashbrown and was given a cold, soggy hashbrown in return. The staff was pleasant enough, but the quality control on the food is subpar. read more

Okay. So I pull up to the drive thru after doing the Ice Castles with my ravenous 5yo. Figured McDonald's is safe in the drive thru cuz it's fast... Whoa, Nelly. Not here. I wait 3 minutes before I can even place my order at the outdoor screen. I pull up and wait another 12 minutes. Let me repeat that... 12 MINUTES to get a GD happy meal!!! And to top it off, that messed up the order!!! I had to laugh at that point. But yeah. So I won't be going there again. Looked like they honestly had 2 people working the whole joint. Clean up, registers, food prep, etc. shame on the owners. If it's a one time horrific situation due to illness, then offer your customers a discount and apology. I'll never return!!! This McDonald's is hands down the dopest spot to recharge your batteries. They even gave me extra sauce (without me even asking)... now that's service! They also have a fancy chandelier with a fireplace to keep warm while you eat your delicious meal. Probably a great spot for a first tinder date. read more

This place is closed, from what I could tell. Yelp is listing 2 McDonald's in Lincoln, and showing one as closed. However, there is only one location there (and it is closed). I was trying to pick up coffees there at around 6:30 a.m. and it was deserted. The door-signs said it should open at 6 a.m. Plan accordingly. read more

There are a few times in life where a meal is so expertly crafted and planned that it is noting short of genius. This was not one of those times. It's a McDonald's, temper your expectations. Fries were moderately salty, a little cold. Chicken sandwiches adhered strictly to the original 6 ingredients and I got no funny business with the no vinaigrette request. The decor seemed like they hired we work's interior decorator, which was pleasantly surprising but also confusing. Service was kind but glacial. 3/5 stars read more

Coming back from a trip, we just wanted to find a place fast and convenient off of 93 south. We had no idea we would wait over half an hour to get our food, which was subpar. The staff seemed extremely disorganized, and even when food was cooked, they would take minutes to actually pack it. Dont go here assuming it functions like fast food should. The cashier was also rude to customers. Finally, the fries were room temp, stale, and no salt. By far the worst McDonald's my friends and I have been to. Period. read more
