I hesitate to claim this place or that is "the best" whatever but I can honestly say that Uncle Lou's is really the best chicken in Memphis. Tangy spicy goodness is what they serve. Don't bother ordering a burger although I am sure it would be tasty. I had a thigh and had it made "mild". Just the mildness I was looking for! No forks in sight. Go ahead get messy and eat it with your hands. They've got plenty of paper towels. Good music in the background was a bonus ( think The Temptations, Four Tops, etc) Service was quick and friendly. Highly recommended!

First they appeared to have no clue what our order was so I had to verbally repeat it several times even after giving the app code. When we got to the hotel that was 5 minutes away and opened the food I was in shock. The fries were cold, the Quarter pounder with cheese looked disgusting. It had been slammed together and been sitting. The meat on it had been pounded flat, like a smash burger. I'm pretty sure that's not why it's called a quarter pounder..... I was hungry to I ate about half of it. That was about 9pm. Fast forward to the next day my stomach has been cramping and I have had to run, not walk to the bathroom all day long. This place is gross. Do not recommend.

All 30 wings were hot, the ham and cheese sandwich tasted like metal, the lettuce was old, and the ham was disgusting. The grill apparently wasn't clean because the black debris was all over the meat and bread. Needless to say, I won't be purchasing any more food from this location.
