The flank steak was tender and tasty. Prepared to a perfect medium and marinaded in a nice meaty broth. The chicken in the Lemon Chicken Piccata was overcooked, dry, resulting in a tough chew. I did enjoy the Mushroom Strudel. A moist dish with a tasty gravy drizzle. I would've liked to try the bread pudding with caramel sauce, but they apparently ran out. The other desserts were ok. They looked like they were hastily cut into slices and served on the thinnest of paper plates. I could tell those running the place were also a bit frustrated; they made their feelings rather vocal, easy for all seated to hear (that's like a major rule of restauranting: the issues in the back should never be exposed in the front, where the customers can hear.) All in all, not a good first impression. But, I am willing to return and have a normal sit-down meal. Then I can see how they do. I have been told that their service and food is usually pretty solid.
