He helped make our evening special and he proves that you can be a "professional " and be a waiter. Ok. We started with the crab soup. It was salty like the ocean, and very tasty with some large bits of crab. Highly recommended. We each had a house salad and they were so big that we could have shared one. We also ordered the seafood fettuccine and shared that dish. Glad we shared because it was more than one person could eat. Plenty of jumbo shrimp and scallops and the Alfredo sauce was filled with crab meat. Just yummy! I figured I would head inside and purchase an item or two. I didn't go far into the store, but could tell that this is the typical Sheetz you come across now. Newer looking, aisles set up per usual. Coolers in the back. But I made a detour right to the counter and asked for my items. This is about the only place I have been recently where I was actually carded. I'm no longer young looking, so it surprised me. The employee told me he had to scan every ID when it came to purchases like these. I'm fine with that, but it would have been nice to know with signage so I could be better prepared for it instead of fumbling with my wallet and holding up the line. Before getting back into my vehicle I took a few minutes to just take in the morning outside. I was in no hurry to make it home and just took in the scenery, did a bit of people watching, then got back in my vehicle to continue towards home.
