Friendly service and simple delicious sandwiches make this place a go to…read more Ted makes really fresh, quality sandwiches. The kaiser bun is so soft, the meat is freshly sliced then stacked high, options of mustard, cheeses, lettuce and tomato. It is quite the exercise for old jaw to unhinge to its max to make way for enjoyment of his meat combos. His famous Roast Beef is cooked to a rare-medium, not well done like at the supermarket. I would have preferred a horseradish Mayo instead of the mustard, maybe you can ask if that's an option on your next visit. The Fight Club is an assortment of meats, and for $8.50 it's a great deal. Now these are not Foodie sandwiches, nothing extra unique to be discovered, it's just fresh, quality and made with a smile for you. They also sell frozen meals and soups to go. I have a heavy tray of Eggplant Parm in the freezer, will comment on that after it's gets baked. I'm ordering a sandwich platter for a potluck, he makes the traditional sliced bread, deli meat triangles or sliders from his wall menu(these are $3.50 each).

Super homey feeling and the blackboard styled menu was cool. Owner seemed nice as well. For my order I got takeout on the Friday special - Hot roast beef sandwich ($8) and a chicken samosa ($2). I think I enjoyed the sandwich a decent bit. Definitely fair priced and came with lettuce, onions, and cheese. However, the sandwich was super greasy and when we ordered, he just microwaved it lol. At least subway will put it in an oven. The samosa was pretty tasty though. Overall, I think my experience lacked a bit but maybe their cold roast beef is better (but it also wasn't available when I went). 3.5/5 stars.

First off - the food in the menu photographs beautifully. The menu looks SO appetizing! I got the vegetarian grilled panini and it was huge!! It also came with a soup (two options, I got the tomato and sweet potato), so at $14 it was a great value. My colleague got a steak and smoked cheese panini which looked incredible as well, and the toppings and sandwiches were just SO fresh. They don't skimp out on the good stuff either, lots of tasty goat cheese on my sandwich...I'm drooling just remembering it! There is a seating area so you can dine in, or take your food to go. The service was friendly and efficient, you can tell they care about the food they're preparing. One thing I will mention - it's MESSY! Make sure you get napkins!

Ordered the chicken avocado wrap with salad AGAIN for lunch and I still love it. The food feels clean and healthy, and the salad is actually a generous portion with a tiny dressing (to keep my calories in check) Wish they could add healthy smoothies to the menu tho.

Wowowow I'm so impressed…read more Lambo's Deli does sandwiches right. The moment I got my sandwich, I knew. From of the nostalgic paper bag. A sandwich that's packed TIGHT is packed right. No mess, no stress. That is serious business. The best part is, the ingredients taste so FRESH. As we were waiting, the friendly staff offered everyone free ice cream samples. It was 25°C sunny so it was much needed. No one refused! They're testing out flavours, so I think we will expect to see soft-serve ice cream on their menu in the near future! I got the Caprese sandwich and the fresh mozzarella was so refreshing! Geniusly, there was a layer of breadcrumbs added to my sandwich, which I found very humorous... b/c really? A bread byproduct inside of a sandwich? That was a first for me. But y'know what, the crunch element over the mozzarella was a really good pairing and it works! Also, the pesto was so fresh and good.. that I had pesto on my mind the next day and I just had to find something pesto for lunch again, the influence! Honestly, we did not have the intention of visiting Lambo's that day. We had walked past it on the way to another restaurant, but I remember this corner store with bold modern-80's decor caught my eye. After our original plans fell through, we stumbled back to this street corner which turned out to be a fantastic accident because we wound up loving Lambo's so much, we swore to come back to try the rest of their sandwiches!

This small shop located in Leslieville serves up some great sandwiches in a space that is primarily take out only (although there are a few bar/counter spots if you'd like to eat there. They are also open daily from 11am to 9pm. Menu wise, there are 9-10 kinds of sandwiches to choose from. They are all served on a sesame kaiser roll and cut in half. You're also able to add on ingredients on top of the already selected ones in the sandwiches. Each of Lambo's Deli locations also have a special sandwich, where this time when I went, it was the crispy chicken club. They also have soft serve as well (rotating flavours!). I stopped by Lambo's Deli on a Monday morning before the lunch rush and opted to grab: - Italian trio sandwich (soppressata, mortadella, prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers, picked red onion, arugula, pesto, Calabrian chili spread) - $18 - Soft serve (flavour was hojicha) -$5 Service was friendly and I received my soft serve while waiting for my sandwich to be prepared. It took about 5 min and it was nicely packed. Staff were great and handed me a handful of napkins as well. I ate my sandwich an hour later and before opening the packaging, the sandwich was pretty heavy! Looking at a cross section of the sandwich, it was packed with ingredients! The Italian Trio sandwich was delicious. The roasted red peppers, pickled red onion, arugula, and Calabrian chili spread added freshness to the sandwich which didn't make it feel so heavy with all the deli meats inside as well as the mozzarella cheese. The sandwiches are big and I could only finish half for lunch. Overall, a delicious sandwich shop in Leslieville. Lambo's Deli definitely packs a lot of ingredients in their sandwiches which make for a tasty meal. Be warned, the sandwiches are huge! Also...don't miss out on their soft serve too!

The sandwich was pretty good; there was a good balance in terms of texture. There was also enough sauce but also not too much where it could get soggy. Flavour was good too and the amount of crabmeat was pretty generous in the sense that I actually found it a bit too much. The hash browns were good too and came with a dipping sauce. The iced tea was not bad too. Overall a decent place with affordable pricing.

Parking is always a headache there - but if you go underground, it's not bad. The place is small - don't recall there's seating - so it's more of a takeout spot. Menu is pretty straightforward with available options and prices. Staff was nice - and orders were done on time (but note you might need to wait at least 10-15 minutes since they are made to order). Food Was craving these foldable egg sandwiches that's been a trend lately - so I tried their BLT sandwich. In terms of ingredients, it was pretty standard for a BLT sandwich - nothing really stood out for me. I had more anticipation for the bread, since these sandwich should be known for amazing bread - but it was a little bland for me. It's like standard bread you could make yourself and not the fluffy or milky Japanese style ones. Their homemade creamy sauce was a good complimentary to the overall sandwich. Overall, my first experience was just okay for this place. They do offer other mains like fried noodles/rice and snacks. Might give it another try to see their consistency.
