i was so very pleased when a Subway Franchise opened just down the road from me. I had bough Subway sandwiches in the city centre before but there was no out of town branch close to me, until now.
This branch of subway is quite small. it has the usual range of sandwich fillings, types of bread, salads, sauces and other ingredients for your sandwich, wrap or salad. It also sells cookies, muffins, hot drinks and soft drinks.
It has about 10 tables for customers to eat their food at but I've rarely seen more than one of these tables being used at any one time. The tables always seem to be clean and tidy, but they will be if no one is using them.
The opening house here are rather limited, being from 9.30am-5.30pm in the week. This means that people about to travel into the city centre for work cannot pick up a coffee and/or a breakfast sub before getting the bus or train, and by the time I get back here after work it is closed so I can't get a sub for tea either.
it's a shame as this subway franchise could be very convenient otherwise. read more
