My last review for this place was in 2013. I FINALLY came back to Mamma's 11 years later. Entering Mamma's, the place has the exact same layout; wasn't sure what I was expecting but I walked straight back to the counter where some kids were working. Since I had to take everything in, I took a menu and a seat, trying to narrow down what I wanted. Stuff I lived off, cheeseburger sub and chicken sub were still listed, as well as the chicken tender platter. I knew I had to order pierogies since it's been years so that was the first thing I did, and the platter won this round. When he asked what sauce I wanted for the bread, I actually had to think since it obviously wasn't the default tomato sauce anymore (I chose bbq which I also used with the chicken). All of this for under $20 which is a steal compared to where I am now. Took a while as expected, but by the time I got back to the car, I was one pierogi down. Food was just as good as I recall. Only thing is the bbq sauce was on the watery side which was odd, but that was it. Why four instead of five stars? I noticed on the receipt way after the fact they have a 'CC Surcharge Credit Fee'. This was a whopping .54 cents, however I PAID IN CASH. I think the teen guys were too much in a rush to talk to their boys hanging out than paying better attention ringing me up, but besides them, I can't believe a little town like Kutztown implemented a ridiculous surcharge, especially with all the students. I expect such a thing in 'big liberal cities' like where I now reside, but here?? It's also not listed on the menu, and I also didn't notice any signage hanging up around the counter area, so just be aware of this unnecessary fee. I guess they are with the times after all. This won't prevent me from returning, but I'll definitely mention it next time when being rung up. Otherwise, the food took me back to when the only thing I to worry about was what final to study for/current crush/etc.

It's a little building on the corner of the street with wraps, salads, quesadillas, etc. I got the burrito wrap with vegan cheese, tofu, black and refried beans, and salsa. It was delicious! The only noticeable thing was there was a little lack of spice/flavor but they had an entire counter full of hot sauces that totally fixed that problem. Other people in my party also had wraps. They come out like chipotle wrapped in paper and man are they heavy! Wasn't even too pricey either! For four people $37. Were used to paying more for vegan food. I would definitely come back here again if I'm in the area. I could eat burritos like that everyday!

Five Stars for Betty's!…read more Betty's absolutely knocked it out of the park! The Thai Burrito Bowl was incredible -- the peanut sauce was perfection, and every single ingredient tasted so fresh. The Hot & Honey Chicken Quesadilla was pure chef's kiss... the flavors blended together like magic. And my son devoured his chicken quesadilla, so that's another win! I ordered through DoorDash and live about 20 minutes away, and somehow the food STILL arrived hot. Major props to my delivery driver, but an even bigger shoutout to Betty's for serving truly fresh, made-to-order food that holds up. Highly, highly recommend!

My problem started when I entered the front door where the sign " please wait to be seated", so I waited and read the menu. Two employees wiped tables and ignored me while I stood there at 6:00 pm, it would have been nice if I couldn't been served to simply say " no".
