I love Subway and usually stop at this one in Jamestown, but since COVID, I've been extremely disappointed in the Staff's mask compliance every time I've stopped by. They're either not wearing it, or wearing it entirely wrong (off the nose, or even just around the chin with nose and mouth completely exposed). Earlier today, I walked out without ordering for the first time ever because both servers actively making food had their masks down on their chin, not covering anything. It's also important to note that the 3 other customers weren't wearing masks at all. It's still a recommendation for universal masking indoors statewide, so it's surprising and disappointing that a huge chain like Subway isn't following or enforcing this public health recommendation. I recently saw a commercial by Subway promoting their foot-long sandwiches - Buy one get one free - and decided to give them a try. We went to the Subway at the Junction, and they told us that they were not offering the promotion. I asked about the other Subways (one by O'Reilly's and the one in Jamestown), and they said those were also not offering it. I don't know if all three are owned by the same franchisee, but it seems like they are. Anyway, in a nutshell, they were getting extra foot traffic in from the advertising, but then not providing what was advertised. So we just walked out. read more

This is hands down the BEST Subway out there. We frequent this location often for lunch because they are fast, efficient and friendly! The restaurant is clean and always stocked with everything u need for a great lunch! My all time favorite it the cali club...turkey, fresh mozzarella, spinach, onions, tomato and avocado... sooo good, especially toasted! If you haven't tried Subway lately...they have really stepped up their game in the sandwich department. Give them a try...I guarantee you will go right back! Keep up the great work guys! read more

Terrible service, stingy on toppings, didn't get the order correct for any of the sandwiches. Called when we got home to ask if they would remake the order, they said they created our order exactly. They would not remake the sandwiches different then the app order sent. Understandable, however our sandwiches were still different then the receipt. Service was awesome, food was yummy. The catch was, compared to where I reside(just 2 hours away) the sandwich prices were substantially more expensive. I eat Subway often and it was $5 more then I regularly pay for the same order. When I asked about it I was told all Subway restaurants are independently owned, so prices can vary at every location. I only gave this Subway 5 stars simply because when it comes to Subways, it's the best one out of many rejected failures that I have had experience with. I'm not a fan of Subway due to the sub par food, poor service, and just the overall lack of quality. However we landed here for breakfast, on a majority vote landed us here on the way back from a recent trek to Yosemite. We were on the go, so needed something quick that could be considered a bit better than going through a drive-thru. It was early in the morning, so perhaps it was the reason why everything seemed so fresh. The service was actually quite helpful and fast, then again their was only one employee tending to our sandwiches while the other two continued to prep for the day. This place is horrible! First of all when you go to most subway restaurants at least from my experience you get a fair ammount of food for your money. Not here sanwitches are half empty. I ordered a Pastrami meat was measured out so thinly that part of the sanwich had next to none and the rest was pretty thin. Other toppings are the same 10 leafs of spinach aprox. 10 pieces of black olive 5 jalapino slices. Totally ridiculous. Then to top it off I recieved coupons in the mail today and they refuse to accept them. I get this is a franchise but damn, maybe Subway corp. Should be a little more picky who they allow to represent their name! I only went because of the coupon at 10 bucks for a crap sandwich it is far from being worth it. Way better sanwiches at the Safeway deli for less. Lesson learned! They will never get my business again! read more

We get a sandwich In Jamestown every time we are on our way to the mountains. Sandwich is always the same. It's good! Service is great too. We don't get the 2 star reviews. This Subway is very clean. We've been to this subway minimally 10 times. Appreciate it's right off HWY108. We phone ahead and it's ready. Easy. read more

First time I was here and the very freak n last time..... the guy behind the counter was wearing gloves and he handed my wife the bathroom key and he never changed gloves and then asked what I wanted.......I said nothing at all......even tho I already paid for my wife's sandwich I still threw it away....its not worth getting sick ..I'd rather be out the $5-$6 bucks.....I'm pretty much done with all the subway franchises.....where I live there's a few in town and none the employees wash their hands....I been in a subway and their mopping and sweeping and they ask what I want and they don't even wash their hands....so I'd avoid all manteca subway..I use to work at a subway when I was younger we got reemed for not washing our hands...oh I rated one star cause you can post without rating... read more
