They have a simple seasoning that somehow makes them completely addictive. I was already full, ate every one of them, and still wanted more. Another small thing I appreciated: the iced tea is actually brewed tea, not the syrupy stuff that comes out of a soda machine. That tells you something about the place. The north wall opens up toward a wetland area, and they have fans going, making that space surprisingly comfortable even on a warm summer day. It's a really nice setup. The staff were super friendly, the prices seemed very reasonable, and everything just felt easy and unpretentious. What started as a convenient halfway stop turned into a place I'd actually seek out. Both breads have had wonderfully crusty exteriors with just the right amount of chewiness and moistness on the interior. The sour dough was as good as any I have ever had - and I worked in San Francisco for a while. The coffee drinks have been perfect. The display case is full of gorgeous desserts, croissants, french macaroons, and more. The bread display behind had numerous types of breads. Not every kind of bread is made each day. I think that the sour dough and baguettes are made fresh every day. This place is an immediate favorite of mine. I can't believe there are not long lines - but maybe that will yet come. Please visit while it is still relatively unknown. This place should be a massive success! I want it to thrive and grow!
