From the outside, it just looks like an older brick storefront on their main street, but once inside, it has such a cute eclectic coffee shop vibe that is putting out really good food in addition to coffee. There were a number of different nooks to enjoy coffee and conversation in private, a fairly large dining area, and a separate room that I imagine could be used for a large group or just spill over for the lunch service. I opted for their Panini that had ham, brie, and apple with a cup of tomato bisque. My colleague got the curried chicken salad on croissant (both our sandwiches were the half size!) with a cup of potato and carrot soup. A couple of the people we were with got their flatbread pizzas, which also sounded and looked delicious. If you find yourself in town and are looking for a pick me up or a delicious lunch, definitely check it out!

The pastries are made with the best ingredients. The individual chocolate cake is incredible. It's a perfect companion to anyone of their coffee selections. My favorite is Raspberry Mocha and believe me it goes with anything here! The coffee tastes fresh, clear and smooth. Not too far from my freshly roasted coffee beans cup of coffee I have before heading out the door in the morning. The breads are great too, there are new varieties baked everyday. I did have one loaf which was under baked or perhaps not left long enough to let the gluten set. Speaking of gluten, they do not have any gluten free bread yet, but I'm sure that one will come along shortly. All in all a wonderful addition to the great city of Hull!

Thus far I've had San Francisco sourdough, buckwheat cranberry bread, cappuccino, café au lait and the house coffee. Both breads have had wonderfully crusty exteriors with just the right amount of chewiness and moistness on the interior. The sour dough was as good as any I have ever had - and I worked in San Francisco for a while. The coffee drinks have been perfect. The display case is full of gorgeous desserts, croissants, french macaroons, and more. The bread display behind had numerous types of breads. Not every kind of bread is made each day. I think that the sour dough and baguettes are made fresh every day. This place is an immediate favorite of mine. I can't believe there are not long lines - but maybe that will yet come. Please visit while it is still relatively unknown. This place should be a massive success! I want it to thrive and grow! The only downside thus far is that I do not yet have a line item in my budget for how much I would like to buy here.
