Ehhhh.... Mediocre experience at best. I'll preface this review by saying, I'd rather not eat Subway at all since Ireland actually classifies Subway's "fresh baked bread" as cake due to the egregious sugar levels. However, my 8 year old son adores Subway, so off I went to make his dreams come true and fetch Sunday lunch for the family. I ended up getting two foot longs, chips and chocolate milks. We split the foot longs between the 4 of us. Luckily I had a coupon which saved us about $8 off our order, bringing the grand total to just over $20. The staff were friendly enough. Unsure if this establishment was bought out by a new owner, simply because I noticed an increase of employees of Indian descent with a strong accent. They were kind, but this establishment was out of EVERYTHING. I came in with the intention to write a review and was disappointed because I was expecting it to be our usual good to great experience. I went to order my kid's favorite ham and cheese sub toasted on wheat and was informed they were out of ham. I ordered a Turkey, bacon, guacamole foot long for my husband and I to share and they were out of guacamole. I asked for provolone... also out. Out of yellow peppers for the toppings too. Most of the chips were out as well so I went with original lays. Not my first, second or even third choice for the kids. Overall, a bit pricey for what you get. Thank goodness I had a coupon. I'd come if you're in a pinch, but don't expect any red carpet treatment at this establishment. Subway - Inside is relatively clean - Sandwiches Near Me - Hudsonville, Michigan

I went there as a delivery driver it was completely dead inside. The two girls that were there one was about to put the bread on the shelves and the other on the cash register with no people there. Neither one acknowledged me. I asked the girl who was walking to the bread shelf if she could please check to see if my delivery order was ready. With her snarky attitude, she said they didn't have the bread for the customers order so they didn't make it. You're out of bread and you are a Subway sandwich shop? So long story short it cost me 50 minutes and no pay no gas reimbursement . As it is delivery drivers only make. $1.00 dollar to $2.50 per drive. This was an order I would've made $18 on with tip. Trying to dispute it with the delivery company I need the information from Subway, but I cannot get a hold of anybody at this Subway due to the number being constantly busy. It is so infuriating. I need to get the order number from them from the order that was placed by the customer who never responded back to my text or phone calls so I could see if she would like another type of sandwich bread. read more

Beware of this store. they are thieves!! I bought a 6" spicy Italian sub no extras. It should have cost me $6.99+ tax, but later when I checked my bank app, I discovered they charged me $22.65. I tried calling them & could never get through. unfortunately I said I didn't need my receipt. huge mistake that I won't do again. read more

Dude...how is this place even open? My buddy is a health code inspector for corporations. I'm gonna make sure he hits this place up lol No one was behind the counter for almost 10 minutes before someone came out from the back smelling like cigarettes. I could have jumped in the back and made my own sandwich and left the cash lol Once I got the sandwich it was pretty much in the trash - soggy bread, old tasting meat. AWFUL!! I Ordered 2- 6 inch subs, one teriyaki chicken, and one BLT . ( should be an easy sandwich to make. ) I requested that they were not toasted due to the last time they were so toasted you could not bite the sandwich . Again today I ordered the same subs, not toasted, ( they toasted anyways) and I could not once again eat them. I called the store and got a very snotty young lady on the phone. My suggestion to you if you order from Subway make sure you check your food before you leave or do not visit the Hudsonville location. AWFUL customer service and disgusting food. Staff is rude and really don't care about their jobs at all. They take their time even when there is a long line. I would rather drive to the Jenison Subway than down the road to this one. read more

This is the closest location to our home, so we've gone there multiple times. The last 3 times have been in the last couple months. Every time we go in, there is this extremely rude, miserable employee working. She has an attitude every time I order something. I've noticed she will start my order and once she puts one of my sandwiches in the oven, she just leaves, and the poor man is left by himself to finish our subs AND cash us out. Noticed the other employee also left this man by himself, while he and the miserable girl just went in the back. We have given this location many tries, thinking maybe she was just having a bad day...but nope. She is literally a miserable person ever single time we go in--so we will go out of our way to have a pleasant employee help us at a different location. read more

This location is a participating location for all online deals. Online they offer a buy one get one deal at this time. This location decided to mark the entire company closed and this happens daily based on the employees feedback. This is done so they do not have to participate in the deals offered by subway and they are only valid when ordering online which is why they marked the store as closed so no online orders could be taken. Employees are also angry about why this is happening and agree that the owner is a scammer. I would not recommend this place to anyone, they are very shady read more

This is the worst subway. Never staffed and always "closed" when I try to go. When there is more than three people in line one worker will lock the door and turn the open sign off. Workers have terrible attitudes and always super sloppy when making sandwiches. Was in one time to get a sandwich and one worker was openly talking about how terrible their manager is. Terrible TERRIBLE service! Wouldn't recommend going even if you manage to get their when they aren't "closed." read more

I went into this Subway just in time to beat a rush of customers. I was greeted by a decidedly young staff. The oldest person there was probably 25. And You know they're not working full-time. Anyway, besides the obvious employee discrimination, the staff was great! Sociable and bright, they made it look fun to work at Subway. I also got a chance to see them in a pinch, when the woman behind me started to order 6 subs, each with different sizes and toppings. They handled it pretty well, considering that the woman didn't seem able to decide what she wanted and changed her mind several times mid-order. Well done for a first impression, guys. read more

Overall great experience, minus the fact that I almost thought they had closed 2 hours early because I seen all of the chairs up & hanging over the table tops. Well they weren't closed, & while I was in line another customer went to go sit down & the male worker behind the counter told him that, that table was not useable? (I don't recall the actual word he used, but he basically said it was out of order) I found that really odd... The female worker who made my sub was super friendly though & made me a great sub! I was unable to read her name tag but she did a good job & made me feel comfortable while placing my particular picky order lol so thank you for being a great sport!!! read more

This is one of the worst Subways I've ever gone to. Went in almost 2 hours to close and they only had enough bread for one foot long and 1 six inch. I was then told "You could have a salad instead" All of the chairs were already on the table. Half of the sub stuff was already put away. Stop here regularly for lunch while working in the area. Generally really quick and provide good service. On the high end for service from subways. Little sloppy on putting the sandwiches together, but if I wanted a fancy sandwich I wouldn't be coming to subway now would I? read more
