Great subs in a casual little restaurant. We've been going to Mancino's in Allendale for many years and it's always great.

Really good grinders and sandwiches. Really love the pizza grinder most of all. Prices are a little bit steep, but it is good quality.

Currently my favorite place in Holland!! Very unique restaurant which offers phenomenal food and…read moredrinks but also has the art studio which you're free to walk around and view the art. Just about all of the art is from local artists and really adds to the bohemian vibe. The pizza here is fantastic! I recommend the margherita pizza but honestly they are all good! He also hosts private dining Chefs table experiences and classes were he teaches you to make pasta! This multi-faceted destination spot has won our hearts (and our stomachs). The art on the walls is gorgeous, the art on the plates mouth-watering! Make time to stop by this special place just minutes from Holland's downtown. You'll enjoy exceptional food, terrific local musical entertainment on the weekends, outstanding hospitality and fun from Chef Sasha - a jack of all trades - and a surprisingly pleasant wine selection. You can't miss with the artisan pizza, charcuterie board or pasta specials (we had the ravioli) - the creme brûlée was to die for! Run don't walk to the Galleria!

We were passing through the area and starved. I hadn't had lunch. I used chatgpt to find a…read morerestaurant in the area that I would like with my dining specifications. This place was really extraordinary. It's a historic eighteen hundreds mansion that 's been restored. Beautifully. The decor was romantic and elegant. Just enough lighting so that you could see your food in the menu comfortably. But had that romantic lighting vibe. I really liked what we turned chose for food. The first of all the bread and butter and oil. It was the best butter i've ever had in my life period it had some kind of seasonings and it had some salt in it. But I loved it, it was very whipped and soft. I could have made a meal just out of the bread and butter. We got two entrees and shared them. We got the eggplant barada and some kind of mushroom ravioli that had a lot of garlic and I think truffle oil. It had a very strong flavor and some kind of cream sauce. It was a great combination, but I think if I would have just gotten the mushroom ravioli, it would have been too rich and strong, a flavor. The eggplant was fantastic. They make their pasta in-house and it has that great fresh texture. The mushroom and the ravioli wasn't cooked to death. It was everything was cooked perfection. I was hoping to save room for a dessert because we heard their desserts are really something great. I had my eye on that chocolate moose, but alas, we did not have room for it. The prices are a little bit pricey, but the portions are nice sized. We probably should have just shared the eggplant and had more of the bread, but anyway, i'm glad we tried different things. It was really a nice evening. I'd had lemoncello for the first time in barcelona and they had that or a orange version, orange cello and I tried that. And it was like you'd expected orangey. Lemon chillo, very strong and acute little glass. This would be great for a date night or some special occasion.. I love the décor and the vibe I like that. The grounds were lovely and they had 3. A campfire, fire pit, things going. So with seating around it, so you could hang out. It was a bit expensive, but I thought it was worth the price. The service mark started strong, but in the end, service got a little bit laxing. My husband had asked for water and his was out of water, and he brought ice, but never brought the water, and I asked a question about the entree, and he said he would go find out and never came back with the answer. But they were really busy. The parking lot was full and I. I'm not mad at it. I would definitely recommend it and come back if I was ever in the area. A lot of times I struggle to find anything on the menu that i'm interested in. There were several things there that I would have loved to try. Even the bill comes out in these cute little suitcases boxes very, very cute.

We chose this restaurant expecting a more upscale dining experience based on the pricing, but…read moreunfortunately it fell short in several areas. I will address the positive things first. We were seated very promptly since we had a reservation. The outside of restaurant is beautiful and has a huge parking lot. The area where we were seated was really nice with windows all along the wall. And our appetizers- the dressed eggs and lobster ravioli were amazing!! One of the biggest issues was the number of gnats flying around our table throughout the meal. We constantly had to swat them away from our wine glasses, which made it difficult to relax and enjoy the evening. I understand the occasional gnat. But this was kind of ridiculous. The service was also disappointing. Our server mentioned that he had worked at the restaurant for quite some time, but he didn't seem very knowledgeable about the menu and wasn't able to answer questions confidently. He was also not very attentive, and we often had to wait longer than expected for check-ins. Our food came out quickly but the wine always took quite a while to come to the table. The food itself was good, but when you're paying fine-dining prices, you expect the entire experience--including the atmosphere and service--to match. I hope the restaurant addresses these issues because it has the potential to provide a much better dining experience. Also, I would skip the sea bass entree. I was not really impressed with it and wished that I had ordered a pasta dish. However the server helped me decide and chose the sea bass. I loved the atmosphere. I loved the decor. I loved the wine and appetizers. But everything else just did not impress me. Not for the amount of money we dropped on this meal. I doubt I will return.
