On four of these times everything was just as I had requested, fresh and ready as I arrived. Beautifully done folks. One of the times they were slammed with orders and ours weren't ready yet, so we waited. When we unwrapped the meatball sub sandwich we found that they had put a copious amount of ranch dressing on it. Not what we had ordered but, c'est la vie. We ate it. It was gross. I wonder if it was just a flat out mistake or if it was a mixup with someone else's order, but who would put such a condiment on marinara sauce? Oh well, live and learn. Overall I like the app and the service, food is great for the most part and the store is clean and friendly. Thank you Subway for making these troubling times a little bit easier.

We got to sample the sausage and bologna before we decided which one to purchase. We ended up purchasing a whole lot more. There's local honey, all sorts of meat, seafood, and cheese. We were introduced to kuchen and even got to sample that as well. What a great shop to have nearby that sells local and supports the community!

My to-go order included mixed country style sausage (fanatic flavor), smoked ribs (yummy - I wish I picked up more), beef sticks (tasty homemade beef jerky that only lasted two days before being gobbled up by my teenagers), and apricot kuchen (another item I wish I had gotten more of because it was so creamy and sweet). If you don't live in the area, you can always purchase their secret spice mix ($15 to make 50lbs sausage) and have it shipped to you and make your own version of the Wurst Shop sausage!

According to the restaurant, they have been open for 50 years. I googled the best lunch at in Bismarck and this restaurant topped the list. When we got there, the Line was out the door, but people were saying it's worth it. Country House deli has lots of sandwiches to choose from. We asked some people in line what their favorite sandwich was. I went with the grinder on sourdough and I was not disappointed. This sandwich was delicious the deli meats, the sauces, the bread, all super fresh . It looks like they rotate their soups and if the wild rice soup would've been available I totally would've ordered that because that is not something I can get anywhere outside of North Dakota. The staff are friendly, and the line moves pretty quick. The food comes out relatively fast. I loved my sandwich from here and I wish it was closer because I would probably get sandwiches all the time. We were the table that was cracking up in the back and stayed there until you closed. I remember getting the first cup of coffee each visit poured hot in a cup at the front counter ( the way I like it!) The family who owns the shop are creative individuals and local artists of Hebron and Bismarck. As for the coffee and service... friendly service with many drinks to choose from. Drinks range from hot and cold coffee beverages to Italian sodas. I enjoyed the iced java chip blended latte, and one of the orange flavored Italian sodas with a cinnamon roll - on separate visits. I enjoyed everything. The coffee here may not appeal to coffee enthusiasts and die hard baristas. I look forward to visiting here again when staying in North Dakota. If I owned the place I would fire her, she has no manners, no sense of urgency, no sense of humor and is generally unpleasant. She must work for fun because I'm sure she doesn't make much in tips. If we know she's working we avoid the place and drive to Bismarck to eat breakfast. What a bummer can't even go into the only breakfast joint in town because such a miserable person ruins the whole restaurant. Another postive about this place is the older gal with a few tattoos on her arms, what a gem. This woman doesn't seem like she would be friendly but she's the best, sweetest, attentive waitress they have.
