My wife and I rarely eat out, but with the virus hurting small businesses we have been supporting local establishments. We love SubwAy, , so we ate here 3 times in two weeks. My wife always gets the rotisserie chicken salad. The first time it was a nice salad. The second time she mentioned their was less chicken than the first time. The third time there was very little chicken and she took it back in to have more chicken added and was refused. I texted the business to lodge my complaint and it took a long time to get an answer; "the salad gets 2.5 ounces of meat". There was no explanation why the first visits were different. Schlotzsky's is just north of this restaurant and will get our business. read more

Fast service on a Sunday afternoon. We dropped by for a sandwich on our way to camp. There was one employee. Restaurant was clean. The service was quick and the sandwich was, as you know, made to order just the way you want it. It's nice you can park right outside as well. There are some quality control issues with this otherwise shiny new store. I've purchased sandwiches here that had so much dressing on them that I had to take napkins to remove the dressing. When I order cookies on 3 different occasion's I'm never given the cookie flavor that I ordered.On the one occasion that I called the store to complain and ask them to look into it, I was told that mistakes happen, it was a newer employee that prepared them. He went on to improperly identify himself as the manager and told me he saw the employee get the wrong cookies but figured I had changed my mind. He never apologized just said I could come and get my cookies, at no additional cost. It's a disappointment but I'm sure I'll continue as its the only Subway in Gilmer. read more
