Haven't had subway in a while (5years) so why not on the way home, so went to my local in Forest Lake. It was after the lunch hour rush so nearly got served straight away, so far so good. I noticed the guy in front of me had an interesting sub so when it was my turn I asked the female server what it was, this coincided with a cacophony of noise from their out the back area, so had to ask her to repeat it and that's where it all went downhill. This little madam obviously didn't like repeating herself and showed it and unfortunately a combination of the other noisy staff and her mumbling every answer, I had to do just that. As you know in subway it is 20 questions so as I endeavoured to make her life easier, she responded with much eye rolling, scowling and generally showing me just how hard I was making her job. When we mercifully got to the register, I dared to put my card in the wrong spot for their pay wave (anyone using these as I do regularly will note that EVERY terminal has a different set up) "oh, just use the other machine" she snapped, again showing her acute displeasure with someone who she obviously thought was in her dotage, straining to hear her mumbling incoherent replies and now not being able to operate their pay wave machine. She then slapped my sub down and turned away to serve some others, all this was done without one please,thank you or smile. I might add that the sandwich was also below standard, soggy and falling apart when I ate it at home, not 5 mins away. There's another subway 10 mins down the road, think I'll give this one a miss read more
