From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with warm smiles and made to feel welcome. Both employees were extremely friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about the menu and products. I ordered a large Philly Cheesesteak and a small order of fries. I was impressed as I watched my meal being prepared with fresh ingredients, and the food was served hot and in a timely manner. Everything was absolutely delicious. In addition, the restaurant was very clean and well-maintained. What stood out most was the positive attitude and customer-focused service provided by Katie and Nadia. They not only treated me with kindness and respect, but I also observed them interacting with other customers in the same friendly and professional manner. The time of day probably had something to do with it, since it was early and not really "drinking time" yet, but there were people at the bar having fun, and music was playing, but it wasn't overwhelming for her, which is awesome. The other customers were also pretty laid back. I've spent years taking kids to restaurants and there's almost always someone irritated nearby, giving dirty looks because they don't want to hear loud laughter or be around even well-behaved children - there was absolutely none of that here, and it did my heart good! In short: if you have family in town, or if you just want to go hang out, have a good beer and some delicious food without going bankrupt, and listen to some music, this is your place! Greeted as I entered by Jade instantly made me feel welcome. The rest is history in the making because I will consider this home from home....it was an actual home and the history is fascinating. Jade was kind enough to give me a brief tour of the old homestead built wayyyy back and introduced me to several regulars along the way. I made other new friends playing at the pool tables next to the outside dining/party area. It's getting a little chilly now to hang outside but I've been told it's a great place come summer time. Of this I have no doubt. I look forward to visiting again as seeing all those friendly faces for the holidays.
