Despite a couple people in line there was no one at the registers. It wasn't busy either. Usually the small fries are enough to feed two people and have leftovers...this one must have missed the memo...McDonals gives you more fries than this one. They also forgot our cajun seasoning and were too wrapped up when I asked for some to give it to me. They also forgot our milkshake....I had to go up twice to get them to make it and give it to us. I ordered the Patty melt which is usually very toasty and melty and it was borderline barely cooked. Would skip this location next time.

This place is so close to a 5... they meet the marks for what you'd expect of five guys food (fries n all), the folks behind the counter are easy to work with, and the times were pretty reasonable? Why the deduction? The facility needs to be cleaner. When we arrived, the tables were dirty, the floor slippery, and the bathroom... not great to put it nicely. Out of all the things this place needs to focus on, being more tidy needs to be elevated to the list. Overall, we'll be back, but I sure hope they clean up their act (or facility in this case). I had originally planned a stop in Charlotte Courthouse but, driving past Cruis-In Cafe in Keysville, I said, "I bet that place has a hot dog." And they did! When we visited for a late lunch they were doing good business. The inside was slightly dark but it was wonderfully decorated with many touches for Halloween. The woman taking care of us was really kind and friendly. We each ordered a hot dog. Mine with their creamy cheese sauce and spicy chili. My friend got hers with creamy cheese sauce, onion, and jalapenos. We shared a basket of onion rings. The food came out quickly and everything was very hot. My friend appreciated they they were fresh jalapenos (not pickled). The chop on both the jalapenos and the onions was a little big for me but she enjoyed hers. The spicy chili did have nice heat. It was a very dry chili and was a soup chili with veggies and beans (as opposed to a hot dog chili). We both agreed that the creamy cheese sauce was pretty thin and didn't have a ton of flavor. The onion rings were great. We got a brownie to enjoy in the car on our drive back to North Carolina. Overall, the friendly service, the tasty onion rings, and the brownie were a highlight.

Each side of the restaurant has a general seating area and each side is loud. The booths have very unique style which doesn't really pair with any of the other decor. The booths are also showing wear and tear. Service was good. Waitress was quick to bring drinks and follow up for refills. Food was good without being too spicy. I added a significant amount of both red and green hot sauces to bring it up to my palate. Mexico Viejo Mexican Restaurant is amd ok place to go and is a recommend if you can find time when it's not busy to be so loud.

We ordered Yamato a couple of days ago. I cannot comment on the atmosphere as someone else picked…read moreup for us, but dinner, while over $120 for 3 1/2 people (days of the times?) was excellent. Everything was nice and neat and ordered correctly. I don't remember the 4th order, but the first three included hibachi steak, rare and medium rare but with extra steak, veggies (oops, not ever my fave unless there are more onions but that was my mistake), fried rice (not normally a rice fan but sooo good), and salad with their homemade dressing. We also ordered spring rolls and a large soup. There was plenty of "white" and sweet and sour sauce (yummy; I used the "white" sauce the next day for other leftovers). The three dinners I remembered were well worth everyone's exorbitant prices. The large portions were correctly cooked to perfection and the fried rice was even better the next day. From the 4th dinner, I only remember he ordered noodles instead of rice and apparently the noodles were also just as yummy. The only, and I mean only disappointment was the large soup (broth). While bursting with flavor, that was the only thing it was bursting with. A few mushrooms and scallions would have been appreciated, especially with the cost. However, if your needing some of the best broth around for a comfort food for a cold, it cannot be beat. The next time we are able (or want) to spend over $120 on takeout, Yamato will be, hands down, our first and only shoice.
