We were just here a few weeks ago and I am so bummed to see they permanently closed!! We came during lunch and took advantage of their weekday lunch combo (Tues-Fri, 11am-2pm), which includes soup and a half grilled cheese. You can choose from the OG, Kick in the Cheese, or Fancy grilled cheese, plus either tomato basil bisque or the soup of the day. Honestly? A dream setup. I ordered the tomato basil bisque with a half OG grilled cheese, and wow... just wow. The soup was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, and the grilled cheese delivered that classic, beautiful cheese pull moment you hope for (and rarely actually get). The cheese had the perfect amount of sharpness and subtle bitterness, balancing everything out so well without being overwhelming.. I seriously could go for one right now! Every bite was comforting and delicious, and I immediately wished I had ordered a full OG sandwich because it was that good. The combo was mouth‑watering, satisfying, and wildly exceeded expectations for a quick lunch stop.

I have visited twice, and have been impressed by their efficiency, timing, and pricing. Plenty of free parking on site. Lots of seating inside. I have enjoyed their Chicken Caesar wrap and their Chicken Bacon Ranch wrap, both with terrific taste, made to order, and plentiful. I explored more of the menu and have a lot of other things to try. I also enjoyed their homemade soup and their cookies.

She ran it once, my phone alerts me Everytime a charge goes through and it popped up as approved, but she asked for the card back, I said it says approved on my end, and showed her the notification and she was still adamant that it didn't so I gave her my card back. Breaking news: they both went through. Guessing she got her lunch for free that day, she seemed like she knew. I will say: generally I love snack shack, it's a locally owned business and they are generally right on the money with the orders, food isn't Gordon Ramsey quality but it's amazing coming off the lake or after a ball game. The owner even offered me free ice cream to take home when I came through after a close relative passed away, which makes them even more deserving of my business. However I haven't been back since that incident and don't plan to be for a while.

Food : pretty good all around, nothing was stellar. Ribs were the standout. The cauliflower pizza was WAY overcooked (dry, burnt crust all around and black cheese at the edges). They didnt care, didnt offer to make a new one or remove from the bill... my 9 year old was starving so he ate half the pie and didnt touch the crust. normally he'd have eaten all of it in one go (as he does monthly at Mod Pizza with their cauliflower pizza) Service needs improvement : slow (took 45 mins to get food), and mainly from teens... so lost a star for that. They didn't seat us where we asked even though it would have only been a 5 min wait... then they proceeded to give it to 10 teens that walked in 5 minutes after they sat us (party of 9). Inside the building is hot and humid.. and it wasn't that hot of humid outside that day - we spend the entire day outside already.

It has fast casual service but with food that you would see at a nice full service restaurant. I ordered a special among several choices, the chimichurri flank steak that was smoked and then prepared with the sous vide method and I'd highly recommend that if available. The chef (maybe the owner?) came out and asked how it was and told me a little about it, I could tell he's passionate about his food. Others with me got the pizza and smokehouse burger-everyone was happy with their food! Seems like it might be a lively fun, busy place in warmer weather too.
