The ambiance is ok with a nice theme and cause going for it but it could be cleaner. I enjoy the smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket sub, which I normally do not like sweet BBQ sauce or BBQ sauce in general but it's pretty decent with the mayo combo. My husband enjoys the steak and cheese sub. If you like spicy the hot sauce bar is a nice touch. Also, I personally like they have the customized soda fountain with root beer and cream soda options that are "sugar free" since I don't really drink soda and if I do I prefer diet since regular tastes too sugary. If you are in the area for a quick meal and don't want to hit up a greasy fast food option this might be it for you.

I also really like the inviting ambiance of the whole place! The only downside is that you have to park downhill and behind the restaurant, and there doesn't seem to be any wheelchair accessible entrance. The bathroom is neat and tidy. I can't wait to try their locally renowned burgers, and the chicken and waffles!

However, we got our food to-go and it held up impressively well. My husband got the steak burrito fully smothered and it while it wasn't reinventing the burrito wheel, it was an impressive bite. I had the spicy chicken sandwich and it exceeded my expectations - the brand on the bun is a nice touch as well. The elote wasn't quite as impressive as the rest of the meal but for Cedar Rapids it's a rare find. Overall, it was a great, easy lunch to grab that left us full and happy. It's SO nice to have another great restaurant pop up on the SE side and the spot is a great transition from the food truck.

The Oreo bite you know was decent i can't really complain! I order my coffee with extra Carmel! Well seemed like the girl who was making the drinks was in a rush for what I'm not sure because they definitely weren't busy but there's no extra Carmel honey!! I left 20% tip because the girl at the register was sweet! Other girl should consider slowing down a little for customer service purposes!! That would be nice or consider the order!!! Other than no extra Carmel I'll give the coffee 8.5/10

In fact I would probably give this place 5 stars and may go back there again except for the way I was treated by your rude cashier Tonya. Melissa wrote her review about this same issue 6 months ago and customers are still experiencing the same rude service so I guess bad service does not matter to this place.
