The red sauce/marinara was a bit of a turn off and super chunky, at least the cup that we were served was. Everything was fried perfectly though, and I particularly liked the fried mushrooms and the toasted ravioli's. Moving on to the burger... It was okay, but pretty measly in size, especially considering the price. It is advertised as a 1/3lb which is already pretty small IMO, and it was also missing the bacon I had requested added on. I didn't notice it till the 2nd or so bite so I didn't mention it to the waitress but I also wasn't charged for it so no big deal. Fries were good, extra crispy battered type that I like. My guest had the tortellini. They tried to eat it but only made it through a few bites before they decided it just wasn't that great. No amount of adding salt, pepper, or mixing up the cold tortellini on top with the hotter ones swimming in the cheese bechamel below was going to save that. According to them the best part of that dish was the garlic roll. I tried it and personally didn't think it was terrible, bland for sure and definitely not worthy of an Italian restaurant, but not the worst I've ever had. It honestly tased as you would expect it to when ordering pasta from a bar and grill. Something you typically don't do. Service on the Friday night we came was sub par. I can't fault what appeared to be the only waitress because it seemed that she had at a lot going on scattered in both the bar area and the less smoky dining area, but this meant we only saw her for ordering the food, and when the apps and food were brought out. We were actually ready to go at least 10 minutes before she finally came back around with the check. Food we were served was also not super hot and the time between the apps being delivered and the main course was painfully slow. Bottom line, I don't foresee myself making the drive from High Ridge to Cedar hill just for Sorellis. I have a rule however that I always give second chances, and I would like to try out the pizza, as well as some of the other apps too, so whenever that second chance happens, I'll be sure to write an updated review.

Its great to have a CW deep in the heart of Jeffco. What's great about CW is the many specials. You can get a great deal if you order a lot of pizza. Two large for a price of one, 5 toppings for a price of 4, etc. They have good cheese garlic bread, wings, and chef's salad. Pasta and sandwiches are on the menu as well. CW offers a variety of St. Louis style cuisine. It is both tasty and affordable.

Cecil's sauce is a little sweet to my taste but otherwise I have no criticism of their version of the pie. Their toppings are tasty and I have not had a bad pizza from any Cecil's location in over 15 years. It has been quite a while since I ate inside this Cecil's location so the below is only regarding their delivery menu and service. Their pizza is good if costly when compared to the advertised prices of national pizza chains. (None of which deliver this far down HWY 30) Their pasta, appetizers and sandwichs are either ok or less then good. But, are always better then anything being offered by the national chains. The quality of the items from this Cecil's depends two things. 1) how fast the delivery driver brings you the food and 2) how your food packed. (i.e. Was the cold salad placed in the same bag as the piping hot pasta? Where the toasted ravioli cooked 20minutes before the driver picked them up meaning the arrive hard as rocks? Etc.) I don't think anything is fresh or hand made at Cecil's. Their menu never changes. Instead it tastes like pre-made then frozen and some menu item's taste precooked and then reheated. Still, I continue to order from Cecil's and enjoy their food for what it is. I have noted the Cedar Hill Location seems to be a little pricey when compared to other locations in the chain. If your hungry and find yourself in Cedar Hill, Cecil Whittaker's is one of the only choices you have but, it would not still be in business if it wasn't decent. A number of restaunts have started and failed in this area over the recent years. Also, there is another, "Italian," restaurant in Cedar Hill that also offer a very similar menu and pizza delivery. The competition is notable (if your a local).

I popped in here and I'm glad I did. It is a small restaurant with about eight tables inside but three of them are larger tables that could fit six people. Service was fast and friendly. I had their lunch sandwich special with a brisket sandwich. They had four different sauces at each table. I chose the sweet and smoky house sauce to pair with my brisket sandwich, which was tender and easy to bite through. I enjoyed the fresh cucumber, tomato onion salad with Italian dressing as my side. I did also ask for a sample of their housemaid chips and those tasted really good as well. Happy to grab a delicious lunch, support local business and walk away with my sweet tea to go.
