There is a lot of seating available outside on picnic tables with umbrellas for shade (there are also tables inside). I got the vegetarian wrap, but in order to make the vegan I did ask for it without the pesto cream cheese, which meant it was rather bland. Unfortunately, the only other potentially vegan option was their beyond burger. However, they didn't carry any vegan cheese or vegan sauces (aside from ketchup), which was disappointing. In the future I think I would get the beyond burger anyway, as it would at the very least have some protein. Everyone else in my party seemed quite happy with their meals, so likely their non-vegan food is great. Their coffee was also pretty good (and they had oat milk & almond milk available as cows milk alternatives). I will say, the marinated cucumbers were fantastic, and again, the prices were great. Just wish that they had at least one menu item which was fully vegan without modifications. Maybe a hummus wrap?

So glad I did because the restaurant itself is a whole vibe tucked away from the busy street in Cape Carteret. We had the most amazing time here. Everyone was wonderful, helpful with how to order and there is plenty of space inside and outside for the warmer weather. My husband and I chose a table right next to an elderly couple who was trying Coastal Haze for the first time (they live out of town and visit this area once a year) and they were lovely to have a conversation with. I ordered the shrimp tacos and my husband got the wings - both were really good and filling! The tacos had plenty of shrimp, were flavorful and came with these steak fries that were thin, crispy and so good! My husband is sort of a snob when it comes to wings and he was pleasantly surprised. I already can't wait to come back to try more items on the menu!

As the mother of a gluten free toddler, and gluten free myself, I trusted that recommendation completely. I will never make that mistake again. Walking in, the place was flat out disgusting. A trash can shoved directly under the soda machine, jammed against a booth, flies swarming around it like nobody had cleaned in days. FLIES. Next to the soda machine. The only open table and booths were dirty. Like, more than crumbs. We should have walked straight back out the door but we didn't, because we were exhausted and had a 3 hour drive home, and we thought, "How bad could it be?" Incredibly bad, it turns out. The "gluten free" crust was thin, flimsy, and burnt around the edges. And the aftermath has been brutal. My toddler and I have both been glutened so badly we are sick, in pain, and completely wiped out the day after what was supposed to be a fun family trip. Instead of beach memories, I'm nursing my kid through cramps and misery because this place could not be bothered to handle allergen prep or basic cleanliness properly. If you have celiac disease or a real gluten allergy, stay far away from this place. Whatever cross contamination is happening in that kitchen is dangerous, not just inconvenient. I don't care how many people recommend it, the risk is not worth it. We will never go back, and I will be telling everyone I know to avoid it too.

It was very busy, which usually is an indication of a great place to eat, but unfortunately for us the bagels were just not that great. The wait was okay for the number of people there and when I got my bagel, the cream cheese was melted and very light and the bagel, although okay, was not up to the hype protrayed by one of the family that was on the YouTube segment. It was just okay, nothing more, and I wish it was so much better.
