I had a rye Manhattan crafted with the local Dancing Goat distillery Rey... while I don't think this distillery is as of yet actually distilling- rather they are barrel aging their spirits... the manhattan was very good. The menu is not huge and that's fine. Big, poorly crafted menus don't really add to dining experiences. In addition to the menu several nightly specials were offered. I opted for one of them, a nice baked/broiled cod... actually seemed like it was pan seared in a French technique of basting with butter. In any case, it was very nice... I quite fancied it. I substituted a twice baked potato for the rice pilaf after seeing one being delivered to a nearby table. The cod was laid on a little bed of greens and came with reasonably portioned side of glazed carrots. My companion had the raspberry salad and was quite pleased with it. We did also start with an order of onion rings... also because I saw an order going out for service. Large, crunchy rings with a side of ranch... really quite tasty.
