I stopped in for lunch as I was passing through town and was pleasantly surprised with all the menu offerings. Brewed coffees, lattes, teas and other beverages plus bagels, pastries and a rotating lunch option. I ordered a half/half Cobb salad and Jack & Tom grilled cheese sandwich. Both were loaded with flavorful ingredients, and the combo was plenty of food to fill me up, otherwise I would have loved to try one of the delicious looking sandwich cookies. Also I can't forget to mention, they have the good ice! The super friendly staff gives Gottcha a warm and welcoming vibe, and the hand-written "remember to smile" message on my tea cup was such a sweet, personal touch! My only wish was to see less single-use plastic silver ware and containers for dine-in service. Still, I will definitely plan to stop there again whenever I'm passing through.

Our server, Deniela, was fantastic, gave us the low down on daily specials and made a few recommendations. Water came out quickly, as did food. She checked on us regularly. I had the daily special, prime rib burrito, which was very good. The prime rib was tender and juicy. The rice was much more flavorful than the usual Tex mex rice. I loved my meal. My husband tried the breaded pork tenderloin. The breading was perfectly seasoned and the large loin was moist and tender. The bun was good, too. The hand cut chips were delicious. (I ate half his chips and could have made a meal of them.) There is street parking. I recommend a visit, but expect to be rooting for Alabama on game day. The food is delicious.

The Big Al isn't just a heaping mound of pork. It's a heaping mound of pork on Texas toast with just the right ratio of a sweeter sauce and.....here it comes....a big clump of Mac and cheese!!! It was like a modern day Dagwood with pork, Mac and cheese and sauce. WOW!! I have a sweet tooth. I like a bit of salty with the sweetness. But the creamy Mac and cheese with the perfectly chewy (al dente?) pasta made this sandwich a hit. The sandwich, along with their perfectly crisped French fries were a great combo. It was a HUGE portion and definitely required some to be held back for leftover lunch. Here's what makes the sandwich even better: this was designed by a local teen and his wishes were for some of the profits from the sandwich to go back towards a worthy organization. I was quoted 30-35 minutes for a pickup order, I arrived after about 20 minutes and the pizza was just coming out of the oven, hot and fresh! The staff is very friendly, polite, and efficient! I ordered a large American sausage, pepperoni, and green pepper pizza. Additionally, I got an order of pepperoni bread sticks! I thought everything was good, however the pizza sauce is very, very SWEET!! A little too sweet for my taste. I will definitely order from them again just to try out more of their menu.
