The drive thru work like this, You order on one side of the Shack and pick up on the other side. At the pick up window, I asked the equally lovely young man to please tell the person that took our order that she was fantastic, he gestured to his coworker and said it was her, so myself and my daughter just said thank you so much for being so lovely. There was only one car ahead of me, but I still waited about 10 minutes. After the car in front of me received their order and left, I pulled up to the window and saw my food already prepared and set aside. Instead of completing my order, the staff member began taking another drive-through order while I was waiting at the window. When I tried to get her attention, I was met with confusion and no clear communication. After waiting further without being served or even acknowledged properly, I chose to leave. This seemed less like a rush issue and more like a breakdown in basic process and customer service. A simple "please hold" to the next customer while finishing the order at the window would have resolved the situation. Unfortunately, this experience reflects poorly on staff training and service standards. They've also lost me as a customer--there are plenty of burger options out there, and nothing about this experience gave me a reason to come back.
