We pull up on Sunday and the security code doesn't work. We try for 20 minutes to try every variation of the code as well as trying to call every number we have...Nothing. So we end up taking our camper back to MN with us. We talk to the idiots on Monday and they say oh we store campers that big on our other lot. No one ever mentioned that to us and it wasn't in any of the paperwork we had. Guy says no problem we will cancel the contract and refund your money in one week. Nothing. The next month comes AND THEY CHARGE US AGAIN. Emails and calls back and forth and they are always handling it. 60 days later they have over $300 of our money and they never provided any service to us.

We have had a climate controlled unit at this facility for over a year now. Went to pay the bill…read moreonline and found the rate was $8 higher than it had previously been. Also, $15 higher than the units lists for online. I called to find out why the change and why we were not notified. The lady that answered (so, I am assuming, the one running the main desk) told me, she had mailed out 80 notifications and not one had received it. Must be the post office. That is who she is blaming. She also told me, they had reviewed local prices and had to raise their rates to stay inline with everyone else. Interesting, since I found rate $20 less for other places in town with our size unit, climate controlled. I was also informed, that new renters would get a reduced rate, but they would raise it to the rate we are paying $129, with 90 days. When I mentioned, there is no mention of this online, she informed me that they don't have to notify tenants. I am passing this on, so anyone interested will know how shady they are.

I talked to the manager to inquire about the drastic increase and she offered to meet in the middle but had to confirm and would "call me back." I can't count how many times I've called over the past 6 weeks to get an official answer. Keep getting promised a call back, but nothing. Finally contacted customer service who said a regional mgr would reach out. 3 weeks later and STILL NOTHING. Storage places are notorious for raising rents a few months after move in, but 80+ percent is absolutely obscene!!
