My first and last time at "Beyond the Surface" was Sept. 6th, 2025. The owner made it clear she had…read moreno time or intention of treatment me personally; she quickly left and put a very young lady in charge of my treatment. The prices are TWICE as much as previous owner (note to new owner: this is not Edgewater). The Botox was overpriced and I never saw the results expected. I called 4 days later & was snapped at "you must wait TWO weeks to see results!". So on Sept 19th (13 days after treatment) I received a snippy text from "Johnathan the office manager" that "your two week follow up window has closed so you must pay again if you return". This place should be called "Bait and Switch". I called one of their multiple phone numbers and a snotty receptionist based in Edgewater kept telling me she "can't help, doesn't know what's going on, Johnathan was just some guy who does their texts" yet HIS texts told me he was the "office manager". The prices and arrogance will not go over well in Lyndhurst. Such a pity that Dr. Gledman moved to Texas. She was so polite, easy to book and very affordable PLUS I never needed a "follow up" as her products and treatment WORKED.

I was so hesitant about permanent makeup but after meeting with her, I'm SO glad I've done it and will continue to go to her for touch ups and different services. She has a way of calming your nerves and making you feel so comfortable with the whole process! I started with a Lip blush treatment with her after having had extremely pale/uneven toned lips for a long time. I had to wear lipstick daily. I LOVE my lips now. So much more defined/even toned and they're more pink. She walked me through the entire process, explained what she was doing and was so mindful of checking in with me the whole time. I can't wait for my touch up appointment! I was especially worried about my brows and how they would look. I really wanted something natural. We went with Powder brows. She picked the PERFECT color for my skin tone and the shape she did is incredible. Will let the picture speak for itself. Obsessed with them and I've been getting so many compliments!
