Charged for multiple visits and multiple hours work even though whole job required about about 1 hour. Did sloppy work and the reason we I got on a crooked pipe (open and visible radiator pipe is poorly installed and crooked) and the response I got was "crooked pipes are within my margin". The visit charge would be $125 plus any labor charge. However the labor price depends on the work needing to be done. The problem was fixed 40 minutes after starting. I was charged $250 in labor, plus the cost for the part which I was told was $85 (later found out it actually costs $15), plus the initial visit charge. What a ripoff!!! To add to the ripoff the emailed credit card receipt came from a company called Full Moon Plumbing and Heating on Benson Ave in Brooklyn, (which when googled, didn't exist) not the Mike the Plumber company on 4th Ave in Park Slope that I'd called. I later found out the intended Mike the plumber works on his own; doesn't have a big company. Do not call 718-799-5838 if you need a plumber unless you want to pay double what the job should cost.
