The ribs were a legit rack though. It also came with a side of fries, slaw and pickles. Ribs were tasty. I also added a side of gumbo. The gumbo was meh. I don't think I will order that next time. Kids ordered mostly Mac n cheese with a side of fruit. One ordered the cheeseburger with a side of fries. Kids ate all of their fruit and just some of their Mac; the one with the cheeseburger finished all of her food. The kids meals did not come with drinks. Overall, we left full. Service was great. Music was good. Kids were a different story. Since we were a party of 5+, everyone was put on one bill and gratuity automatically added. The last show I went to at the venue was said Maylene and the Sons of Disaster show in what I believe was May of 2024 (I'm catching up on venue reviews). The venue itself is a decent enough size and mostly consists of standing room only, though a few chairs for what I assume is ADA are usually lined up against the wall. The sound here was always solid enough and I don't have any complaints over that and the merch area was tucked away enough in the back that it didn't get in the way of the show itself. Overall, Backstage Bar & Billiards is a solid little venue that consistently has pretty decent shows. The staff here always did what they needed to do, and my only real complaint is that I wasn't able to score Green Day tickets here when they did that special show, but either way, it's a solid enough venue.

And another bowling VIP membership if you wanted to be near the bowling lanes. I was not informed of any of this when buying the tickets at all. Also, I was told in my email that if I parked at the Linq parking lot, my parking fee would be waived. However, when I asked the office at the bowl, they told me since they are under new management, it might not work and I would still need to pay. That should have been told in the email so I could have found better parking if I was going to pay anyway. But after I did pay the parking ticket when I was leaving the parking lot, the gate was open for people to just leave without paying, and the machine didn't accept the ticket anyway. So I just wasted more money on the parking ticket because the machine told me that I had to. The venue itself is small and nice, but the lack of info when buying for a first-timer is sad to see. I enjoy the concert for the band itself, but I would not go back here unless it was someone I really wanted to see in person.
