I cant say enough good things about this company. Lets start with my first call with Jessica Freedman, Owner. She was so nice and talked to me about my issues or what I would like to come out of training my 12 week old puppy. She explained the consult process and the next day we had Nicki (our trainer) at our home for the consult. What I really loved about the training is that all the sessions was at our home. In our puppys element! She got to see when she would run around and nip us and all! I cant believe how amazing she is now! we chose the 7 session package with working to the E collar. During our consult the trainer showed us the "e collar" and honestly first thing I thought of it was scary and there was no way she is going to train my puppy. BUT!!!! she explained everything! I mean seriously my learning experience started at the consult! After feeling the "e Collar" for myself and my husband feeling it. I knew this was what we needed for our puppy. We are now done with our 7th session. She is now a Sublime K9 Graduate! My now 5 month old puppy can SIT, STAY, LAY DOWN, COME, and go to her PLACE whenever we want her to!. My new dog (8 mos.) was out of control from the moment I got him. He was very mouthy and had no understanding of bite pressure. As he adjusted to his new home, his behavior became worse. I recently acquired the help with training my pitbull Boss. Boss entered our home at 5 months and at ten months he was already such a handful. Jessica was willing to take on the task of taming him. Well, in five lessons Boss has learned quite a few tricks. He knows come, heal, sit, and down. We really needed help with Boss' excitement level when visitors came to the house. Jessica gave us the skills to get Boss under control quickly so that people are able to enter the house and visit. Boss was a quick learner and knew when Jessica would be coming. Jessica gave us special tools (collar) to correct Boss. At first the collar looks intimidating but Boss responded very well with it. Jessica reassured us that it would not hurt him and gave us the tools to take control of Boss without him losing the special ways that make him him. We had the most wonderful experience with Sublime K9 and Katie our trainer. After rescuing our pup in the city and moving to the burbs, our 1 year old rescue mutt was experiencing some behavioral problems that we wanted help correcting ASAP. She was terrified of men, would nip at ankles, and was a bit uncontrollable at times on the leash when seeing squirrels. Katie is a dog guru. She is so knowledgeable about dogs and their behaviors that she was able to explain the WHY behind each command and tailored our lessons towards our pup! We can't thank Katie enough for training our 8 month old french bulldog Penelope! She was showing slight aggressiveness and wasn't listening to us for anything. I'm so happy to say after just a few trainings her aggressive behavior is non existent and she listens to us so well. I was a little skeptical of training would work because frenchies are known to be very stubborn but Katie proved me wrong. I was uncomfortable and nervous bringing our puppy around other dogs before because she would randomly growl, where now she's been to multiple events with over ten dogs at a time and she gets along with them so well and never shows one bit of aggressive behavior! There aren't enough positive comments I can write about Jessica from sublime k9! She took our wild child 2 year old pitbull rescue (Barnaby) and made him a well mannered gentlemen in just 5 visits. From the day she came to our house for a consult she was entirely confident he would be able to perform all the skills she would teach him. Sure enough, within our 5 visits, Barnaby now sits in place while we're welcoming guests at the door, heels while walking, sits and stays until he is told "free." Besides these behavioral commands he also learned how to give paw and roll over! My husband and I were at our wits' end! We adopted two dogs from a kill shelter. We knew very little about them, but felt it was super important to help these girls out. Both of our precious dogs had major obedience issues. One of my girls (Ruth) in particular was becoming extremely aggressive. Never towards people, but definitely towards other dogs. I cannot say enough about Katie McKnight and Sublime K9! I have a 16 month old rescue anxiety ridden fearful Borador who would incessantly bark, growl, and "herd" anyone that came into the house. Katie came for his evaluation and all he did was bark, growl, and cower. Flash forward 3 lessons later and he is a completely different dog! He has let go of most of his anxiety ( fireworks notwithstanding) he is confident, and no longer growls or barks at strangers ! Katie is an amazing trainer with a big heart. There should be no one else you call when you need a disciplined dog. She went over various actions and activities and commands for us to train Daisy with. She was great with time and if was running late she would let us know. Our dog is the better because of her. We had just recently adopted a puppy from a shelter and although we have had plenty of dogs growing up, our Bailey was giving us a tough time responding to our commands. Sublime K9 was excellent!
