It's of tucked away at the back of the Carlisle Street shops. It's a nice modest little space on a side street and has no evident pretensions. That's a key part of its charm. There was a lovely greeting when I arrived. It's sort of a Korean cafe here crossed with a Melbourne hipster cafe. Curious. The menu items are a little jumbled but who cares. I studied them carefully with a lovely long black. A very good Melbourne style coffee. I gravitated to the Korean items. In particular the Bibimbap with beef. A superb dish. It is a very generous serving and a beautifully presented rustic dish. It tasted fresh and delicious. Just the right amount of spice from the sauce too. I adored the dish and would cross town for it anytime. Prices are modest here. I had a superb dish and a gorgeous coffee, all for under $20. Given the quality on offer and the lovely polite and efficient service, I'd mark this place down as exceptional value and will definitely be returning.

Two TINY cold deep fried potentially crab bits, a pinch of pickled bean sprout, four small lettuce leaves, some seaweed, gluggy rice (that could be rolled into a ball and used as a weapon) and chicken. The chicken was actually ok but on a whole a very underwhelming lunch experience. There were other meals floating around that looked alright so maybe it was an ordering fail on my behalf but unsure if I can endure the WORST RESTAURANT MUSIC EVER again. The music in itself was torture. And it was loud. I better not get food poisoning from that crab. I'm nervous.

Then add the selection of fresh sashimi, very good quality. They have an ample menu of Japanese and Korean dishes. I went with the bento with salmon (two big pieces), 4 slices of sashimi, a heap of chicken karaage, pickles, rice and miso soup. This would normally cost at least $20 in the CBD. Here only $16! My dining companion went with the giant dish of sushi and sashimi. All fresh and delicious for $19. Great deal and even better service. It's not omakase grade seafood but honestly good food at affordable prices. I can't wait to return and try their other dishes.

I'll be honest, we only went there because of our Scoopon but it was really good and it has a nice vibe in there with the friendly and helpful staff. The other major upside was that, even though we did have a coupon, the menu isn't overly expensive. A decent sized Bento Box for $18-$20 is really good and when it tastes good that even better! All of our dishes were great so no complaints and will definitely go back for another visit (without a coupon).
