I don't why the word Korean is in the title of this restaurant, as it is a Japanese restaurant all the way. The sashimi was delicious and so fresh. And yes, it is served on a wooden board. Very rustic.
The Gyoza was delicious, the tempura was cooked perfectly and not overly oily. My husband had the teriyaki beef and it was very nice. It was good quality steak and tender... Not chewy.
Topped it off with salad and Mizo soup. The whole dinner was great and the service was good too.
The restaurant itself is very basic and rustic. But it's clean. The only thing that bugged me was the TV on the wall. I hate TVs at a restaurant because its hard not to watch it...but yet you're there to enjoy a nice dinner with friends and family. Not to mention there was a horror movie on and I had to ask the to change the channel because we were there with the kids. read more
