I am not sure if they were short staffed or just had one person working, but the staff member had a great attitude despite a slightly long line. I think this speaks highly of the individual. The way they make the ice cream right in front of you in a cloud of super-cooled smoke is really unique and kids love it. Plus the end product is actually really good. You have endless combinations available of ice cream flavors, toppings, and the base cream/yogurt so you can get creative if you want or just pick one of their recommendations. Or you can just get peanut butter ice cream with Oreos which is my jam. The texture might be a little different than typical ice cream, which I like. Let's just start this as I am a worker of the hospitality industry. I am understanding and calm. However.. during these covid times, I am so disappointed. Two weeks ago on Sunday my boyfriend, his daughter and myself went to get ice cream. Well, there was only two people in line ahead of us. One person working. That's fine. We were more than willing to wait. Seeing as we had never been here before and needed to select our options. The employee working had her mask on, in the chin strap position. She was not wearing gloves... and not sanitizing or washing her hands between customers. This is all health code violations. She also kept complaining that her boss was supposed to be there with her. That was something she repeated over and over. We were calm and polite with her. Seeing she was under Stress. Relating to her being in the industry. However, with her picking up the phone and going back to make ice cream, with no gloves and no mask and no sanitization at all. I will say, if you are worried about covid or any health regulations, this is not the place to go. I will not return because of this. Also, the ice cream was mediocre. If rules were followed and health code was actually kept I would have given a higher rating and another chance. That'll be a never again for my family. read more
